You will work within a multidisciplinary product team to create and release detailed engineering designs from concept through production, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">Key Responsibilities</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Create and maintain 3D solid models and detailed engineering drawings using CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Develop component and assembly designs for aerospace structural applications, including material selection, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GD&amp;T.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Coordinate with stress, materials &amp; processes, manufacturing, and quality engineering to ensure designs are structurally sound, producible, and certifiable.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Support and participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR) and engineering change management processes.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Generate and maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, specifications, and design substantiation packages.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Collaborate with suppliers and OEM customers on interface definitions, installation requirements, and design integration.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Support root cause investigation and corrective action for in-service or production issues as needed.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">Required Qualifications</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience in the aerospace industry.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Proficiency with CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX for 3D modeling and drawing creation.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Strong working knowledge of GD&amp;T and tolerance analysis methods.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Familiarity with aerospace material specifications (metallics and composites) and manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal forming, composite layup).</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Ability to read and interpret stress reports, loads documents, and test requirements.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">Preferred Qualifications</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Experience with Teamcenter or Enovia PLM systems.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Prior experience on nacelle, pylon, thrust reverser, or aerostructures programs.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems.</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;">• Experience supporting FAA/EASA certification activities from a design perspective</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000/K</span></strong></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience</span><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:100,&quot;335559739&quot;:100,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}">&nbsp;</span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
