About the Role  We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced financial planner to join our in-house Wealth Planning Team. This role serves as a generalist, creating financial plans, conducting ongoing research, and providing education to advisors. Our Wealth Planning Team significantly impacts our business by supporting client advisors in developing customized financial solutions for both new and existing clients.  Freestone is committed to your professional growth and provides clear pathways for career advancement within the organization.  Key Responsibilities  <ul> <li>Provide support to Client Advisor teams and their clients in areas including retirement analysis, Social Security and Medicare planning, education funding, tax projections, charitable planning, insurance needs, executive compensation, estate planning, and cash flow analysis. </li> <li>Accurately input data into financial planning software, construct and update financial analyses, and proactively identify planning issues and opportunities. </li> <li>Develop actionable recommendations to address clients' planning needs. </li> <li>Compile, input, and monitor CRM workflows related to financial planning requests. </li> <li>Support the creation and delivery of internal training programs. </li> <li>Conduct research and assist in developing client-facing presentations. </li> <li>Stay informed of and communicate updates on changing financial planning, tax, and estate regulations. </li> <li>Perform ad-hoc research on topics such as Social Security, Medicare, and retirement planning. </li> <li>Manage and expand relationships with wealth planning software vendors, including RightCapital, Holistiplan, and Vanilla. </li> </ul> Qualifications & Skills  <ul> <li>3 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, with a preference for experience in a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) environment. </li> <li>CFP® designation preferred, or commitment to obtain within the first 1 year. </li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred. </li> <li>Proficiency in tax, investment, and estate planning strategies. </li> <li>Experience with financial planning software (RightCapital, Vanilla, Holistiplan) highly desirable. </li> <li>Strong project management skills and enthusiasm for continuous learning. </li> <li>Excellent professional communication skills and business acumen. </li> </ul> Why Join Us?  <ul> <li>Competitive base salary starting at $110,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience and skills, plus eligibility for discretionary bonuses based on individual and company performance. </li> <li>Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) matching, life and disability insurance, parental leave, and flexible spending accounts. </li> <li>Generous paid time off, including 17 vacation days in your first year, 10 paid holidays, and Summer Fridays. </li> <li>Meal perks, company events, team celebrations, and a collaborative, supportive culture that encourages innovation and growth. </li> </ul> Our Core Values  <ul> <li>Commitment: Passion, integrity, and energy in every action. </li> <li>Collaboration: Together, we are stronger, smarter, and more innovative. </li> <li>Continuous Improvement: Dedicated to growth—for clients and ourselves. </li> </ul> Freestone is an equal opportunity employer.
