Today, it focuses on climate change, innovation, and digital transformation to improve lives across global markets.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Review business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios, test cases, and expected results</li> <li>Execute functional, integration, regression, conversion, and end-to-end testing</li> <li>Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing</li> <li>Validate front-to-back workflows across trade capture, pricing, risk, settlements, collateral, messaging, and accounting</li> <li>Prepare, validate, and maintain test data for functional and integration testing</li> <li>Coordinate with technical teams to support test-environment setup, configuration, and readiness</li> <li>Perform data validation and reconciliation across source systems, trading platforms, and downstream applications</li> <li>Validate interfaces, scheduled tasks, batch processes, reports, messages, and accounting outputs</li> <li>Record test results and maintain requirements-to-test traceability</li> <li>Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and Xray or comparable tools</li> <li>Participate in defect-triage sessions and provide clear reproduction steps, supporting evidence, and impact analysis</li> <li>Work with business analysts, developers, and functional teams to investigate and resolve defects</li> <li>Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing to confirm system stability</li> <li>Support automated test execution and continuous integration processes where applicable</li> <li>Assist with performance, security, and operational-readiness testing</li> <li>Prepare test-execution reports, evidence packages, and readiness documentation</li> <li>Communicate progress, blockers, defects, dependencies, and risks to the QA Lead and project stakeholders</li> <li>Follow established testing standards, quality controls, and project-governance processes</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and overall product quality</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience testing capital-markets or financial-services applications</li> <li>Strong understanding of front-to-back trade-processing workflows</li> <li>Knowledge of financial products and the trade lifecycle</li> <li>Strong knowledge of software-testing principles, methodologies, and lifecycle processes</li> <li>Experience creating test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and supporting evidence</li> <li>Experience with functional, integration, regression, conversion, and end-to-end testing</li> <li>Experience supporting System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing</li> <li>Experience validating interfaces, batch processes, scheduled tasks, reports, and downstream outputs</li> <li>Strong data-validation and reconciliation skills</li> <li>Working knowledge of SQL for test-data analysis and backend validation</li> <li>Experience using Jira and Xray or comparable test- and defect-management tools</li> <li>Understanding of defect lifecycles, severity classifications, triage, escalation, and resolution tracking</li> <li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Clear written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with QA, development, functional, and business teams</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience testing Calypso implementations</li> <li>Familiarity with front-to-back Calypso workflows</li> <li>Experience with the Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT)</li> <li>Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Cucumber</li> <li>Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines</li> <li>Experience with position-conversion or data-migration testing</li> <li>Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, collateral management, or accounting workflows</li> <li>Experience working within a highly regulated banking environment</li> </ul> <h3>English level</h3> <p>Intermediate</p> <h3>Legal &amp; Hiring Information</h3> <ul> <li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li> <li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
