Employee Experience Manager at Thatch

<h3 class="mb-4 text-xl font-extrabold tracking-tight text-gray-900 sm:text-3xl md:text-2xl">About the role</h3> <p class="mt-4">We’re looking for an Employee Experience Manager to create an exceptional workplace environment for our Thatch team. You’ll be a driving force behind our culture, managing our office operations, and helping support and execute large-scale events. There’s a lot of ground to cover but you’ll have the ability to tie many aspects of employee experience together.</p> <div class="mt-10"> <h3 class="mb-4 text-xl font-extrabold tracking-tight text-gray-900 sm:text-3xl md:text-2xl">What you'll do</h3> <p>Office Management</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operations across our office locations, ensuring spaces are clean, functional, welcoming and well-maintained</li> <li>Manage vendor relations including facilities, lunch/catering, supplies, and building management</li> <li>Coordinate office services, supplies, equipment and support IT with Technology needs for seamless operations</li> <li>Act as our points person with brokers and landlords as we grow and add more offices&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Event Planning &amp; Execution&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Plan and execute large-scale company offsites, including venue selections, logistics, programming and budget management in partnership with others at Thatch</li> <li>Organize engaging office specific and company-wide offsites with our Head of People and other leaders at Thatch</li> </ul> <p>Employee Experience &amp; Culture</p> <ul> <li>Design and Implement employee perks and programs that enhance workplace satisfaction</li> <li>Serve as a member of the Culture Committee and continuously assess and improve the employee experience through feedback and creative solutions</li> </ul> </div> <div class="mt-10"> <h3 class="mb-4 text-xl font-extrabold tracking-tight text-gray-900 sm:text-3xl md:text-2xl">Background we're looking for</h3> <ul class="ml-4 list-disc"> <li>3-5 years of office management, employee experience or related fields</li> <li>Track record of planning and executing large-scale events for 100+ people</li> <li>Excellent ability to manage against a budget and identify areas of opportunity</li> <li>Ability to manage and negotiate with vendors</li> <li>Detail-orientated with strong organizational capabilities, and ability to communicate needs clearly</li> </ul> </div> <div class="mt-10"> <h3 class="mb-4 text-xl font-extrabold tracking-tight text-gray-900 sm:text-3xl md:text-2xl">Experience we’d be particularly excited about</h3> <ul class="ml-4 mt-4 list-disc"> <li>Experience managing offices / facilities for high-growth companies</li> <li>Planning large, multi-day events with a remote workforce</li> <li>Optimistic orientation towards work and ability to thrive even when things are not working out as planned… because sometimes that happens with events</li> </ul> </div> <div class="mt-10"> <h3 class="mb-4 text-xl font-extrabold text-gray-900 sm:text-3xl md:text-2xl">What to expect</h3> <p class="mt-4">We interview rigorously based on integrity, talent, and drive; the trust we display in our teammates from day 1 is a reflection of the confidence we have in this process.
