But you can’t just take our word for it...apply today and join the WLG family.  </div>Position Summary: We're looking for an Auto Investigator to dig into the details of motor vehicle wrecks — from checking out the scene and talking to witnesses, to reviewing records and figuring out what went wrong. You'll collect evidence, write reports, help with claims, and sometimes even show up in court. The role also includes some admin tasks, using tech tools, and responding to calls in the field. Key Responsibilities:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">May need to meet with potential new clients and obtain signatures on contracts.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Examining physical evidence such as skid marks, debris fields, and impact points to determine what happened in an accident.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Search for accident videos and coordinate with Crash Production to obtain Scene Photos, Drive-Throughs of Area, Traffic Light Sequences, P.D Photos, Injury Photos. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Interviewing witnesses to an accident to gather information about how it occurred, what happened immediately before it occurred, and other details.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Determining whether any laws or regulations were violated during the course of an accident investigation, and recommending appropriate action be taken against the violators.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Reviewing records such as medical reports, autopsy reports, genetic test results, insurance claims, and vehicle registration documents to determine liability in a personal injury claim.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Interviewing victims of accidents to obtain information about their injuries and the impact the injuries have on their lives.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conducting research on accident causes and prevention methods, including studying engineering and design flaws in vehicles or roadways.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Preparing detailed reports that include information about the accident circumstances, findings of fact, conclusions, and recommendations for preventing future similar accidents.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Investigate traffic accidents; initiate proper assistance, including wreckers, ambulances, fire department personnel, and law enforcement. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assist disabled motorists and aid in the removal of abandoned vehicles that obstruct roadways. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Respond to dispatched assignments. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain assigned vehicles, equipment, and supplies, ensuring availability and proper working order. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">May testify as a witness in court. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform various administrative support duties. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Abilities to use software, technology, and other tools to complete tasks. </li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of a high school diploma or GED or higher </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Two years' experience requiring recordkeeping, public contact, interpretation of rules, regulations, and investigation</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
