We hope you will join us.</p> <p><strong>Summary&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a highly motivated candidate to monitor the daily operation of a rapidly growing portfolio of utility-scale PV plants. The Control Center Operator will perform continuous real-time monitoring and control of Solar Facility performance, energy yield, and output.&nbsp; The candidate will be trained in the essential knowledge and skills necessary to monitor and operate utility-scale solar generation facilities.</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Complete initial operator training program designed to prepare candidates to independently perform remote monitoring and operation of solar facilities.</li> <li>Closely monitor the day-to-day operation of numerous 2MW to 100MW solar projects.</li> <li>Respond to DAS Alerts, SCADA Alarms, and abnormal facility conditions by alerting appropriate parties.</li> <li>Act as point of contact for field technicians, remote plant operators, utilities, and transmission operators regarding performance, control, and schedules for solar facilities.</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining availability levels at each solar facility as well as following curtailment directives.</li> <li>Perform daily reporting of solar facility performance.</li> <li>Data analysis of underperforming systems.</li> <li>Aid field technicians with system troubleshooting and providing routine dispatch.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Preferred Education and/or Work Experience</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS in a technical field of study, Engineering preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of power generation design or operations</li> <li>Knowledge of PV systems, including DC systems, AC medium voltage systems, and network communications and monitoring</li> <li>Diagnostic capabilities to troubleshoot and correct problems found via DAS/SCADA</li> <li>Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams</li> <li>Proficiency with MS Office suite</li> <li>Experience working with a CMMS platform (preferably for power generation facility)</li> <li>Experience working with DAS and/or SCADA systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;Other Requirements/Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work is to be performed in an office environment</li> <li>After the initial&nbsp;training phase, this position will perform a 12-hour shift schedule and candidate is expected to be available holidays/weekends as required.</li> <li>Valid Driver’s License</li> <li>Ability to obtain unescorted access&nbsp;for&nbsp;NERC/CIP facilities</li> <li>Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Energy</li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong>Benefits:</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">15 days of Paid Time Off, accrual up to 20 days, 11 observed holidays</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">401(k) Match</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision and health insurance</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Wellness stipend, family planning stipend, and generous parental leave</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Tuition Reimbursement</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Phone Bill Reimbursement</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Durham, NC</p> <p><strong><span class="TextRun SCXW223452974 BCX0" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="none"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW223452974 BCX0">A note to Recruiting Agencies </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW223452974 BCX0">Cypress Creek Energy Human Resources te</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW223452974 BCX0">am does not accept unsolicited resumes from third party recruiters, staffing firms, or related agencies.
