About the Role

<hr> Overview <hr> As a Lead Technical Architect in the Service Provider Group (SPG), you will be the Post Sales practice lead for our Converged Packet and Optical Technology focus area. The Lead Technical Architect will be the Subject Matter Expert responsible for leading and mentoring teams of pre and post sales engineers. <hr> Your Impact <hr> The Lead Technical Architect-Converged will be responsible for research, design and development of complex Routing/Optical designs for Critical Infrastructure projects: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Lead a team of Engineers, Sr. Engineers, Consultants, Sr. Consultants and Architects</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Research, design and develop repeatable solutions to support applicable customer architecture needs</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Be an escalation point for Engineers, Sr. Engineers, Consultants, Sr. Consultants and Architects</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work with internal management and strategy teams on development and delivery of relevant solution bundles</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Engage applicable manufacturers and their engineering resources for design assistance and lab access</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to drive ePlus sales of applicable technology</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Meet with key vendors to stay current on products and technologies</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Maintain Major vendor certifications (Cisco/Juniper/Ciena/Nokia)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work on achieving additional relevant certifications that would benefit the Architect role</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work with the Services Director and the National Practice Leads to develop standardized assessment, delivery and testing documentation to be used by ePlus nationally, for delivery of repeatable services</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, our compensation package may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses. ePlus offers a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, employee stock purchase program and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
