Founded in 2017,</strong><strong>&nbsp;we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.</strong></p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div></div><p></p> <p><strong>Battery Disassembly Technician, Energy Storage </strong></p> <p>The&nbsp;Battery Disassembly Technician performs&nbsp;safe, efficient, and high-quality disassembly of EV battery packs and modules within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The position requires strict adherence to high-voltage safety protocols, standardized work instructions, and continuous process improvement.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities will include: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform safe, controlled disassembly of EV and energy storage battery packs down to module and component level, following detailed work instructions and safety standards</li> <li>Execute high-voltage isolation, verification, and handling procedures, including strict adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements</li> <li>Sort, classify, and route battery components for reuse, recycling, or disposal in compliance with environmental and production guidelines</li> <li>Operate within a high-throughput production environment, meeting performance targets while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and workflow continuity</li> <li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment to support disassembly, inspection, and basic troubleshooting tasks</li> <li>Safely handle, transport, and lift large-format battery systems using forklifts, cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment in accordance with safety protocols</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuous improvement, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and ensure compliance with quality and EHS standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Operate a variety of material handling equipment and mechanical lifts (training provided).&nbsp;</li> <li>Must meet all requirements for use of a full-face respirator, including medical clearance and fit testing,&nbsp;in accordance with&nbsp;OSHA and company standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrates working knowledge of mechanical fastening systems, electrical connections, and component-level disassembly techniques.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prior rigging and heavy material handling experience&nbsp;is&nbsp;strongly preferred; however, training and certification will be provided for candidates with foundational mechanical aptitude.&nbsp;</li> <li>Supports field operations as&nbsp;required&nbsp;(up to 10% travel) for battery system decommissioning, including on-site disassembly and material recovery.&nbsp;</li> <li>Position includes&nbsp;additional&nbsp;internal and external&nbsp;trainings&nbsp;such as LOTO,&nbsp;Lifting/Rigging&nbsp;and High voltage Battery Basics etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>A Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The position is full-time.
