In addition to managing day-to-day accounting operations, this individual will liaise with our U.S.-based accounting team on reporting and analysis.</p> <p>The Financial Controller will own several business functions and receive significant exposure to the organization. This is a newly created seat — an investment in building a stronger finance foundation. With deep roots in South Carolina and a national reach, Cyber Solutions is trusted by organizations in healthcare, finance, legal, government, and beyond.</p> <ul> <li>Client-Centric – Every service offered is designed around your business needs and goals.</li> <li>Security-First – Cyber Solutions leads with cybersecurity, making sure your infrastructure is resilient by design.</li> <li>Compliance-Driven – From HIPAA to CMMC, Cyber Solutions helps you meet complex regulatory standards without the complexity.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your work as a Financial Controller will include several components:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage company finance and accounting initiatives, including budget, audit, and month-end close processes, utilizing U.S. GAAP accounting</li> <li>Manage daily accounting functions for: General Ledger, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Collections, Monthly Reconciliations, Sales and Use Tax, and participate in these processes as needed</li> <li>Lead and manage Accounting Operations including systems and processes, attaining goals, and managing special projects</li> <li>Maintain accounting and finance Standard Operating Procedures and develop recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes</li> <li>Own financial reporting for internal, corporate, and peer group requirements</li> <li>Own basic HR functions including benefits administration, group insurance and assisting with new hire onboarding &nbsp;</li> <li>Play an integral hands-on role in customer billing processes, monthly and annual price changes, and billing-related incentives and commissions</li> <li>Liaise for key business relationships such as banking, landlord, vendors, and suppliers</li> </ul> <p>The ideal candidate is an analytical, process-driven professional who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and isn't afraid to get into the details. You'll operate across levels — equally comfortable as a hands-on contributor and a thought partner to senior leadership.
