You’ll operate at the intersection of radar principles, antenna theory, RF electronics, embedded computing, and power distribution to develop products used across the globe, in a culture built to disrupt markets with revolutionary technology.</p> <h3 style="line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li>Translate product/customer use cases into measurable system requirements and performance budgets</li> <li>Define and maintain radar system architecture across hardware, firmware, algorithms, and product interfaces</li> <li>Lead system decomposition into subsystems to define subsystem requirements</li> <li>Utilize system budgets to effectively manage tradeoffs among competing requirements</li> <li>Lead system-level performance closure through analytical means such as modeling/simulation and field data interpretation</li> <li>Enable integration readiness through collaboration with cross-functional HW and SW leads</li> <li>Establish verification philosophy in partnership with integration/test leadership, including verification strategy, requirement coverage, traceability, and reporting</li> <li>Serve as a principal technical voice in roadmap and design reviews, teaming with product, manufacturing, and customer support teams</li> </ul> <h3><strong><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE</span></strong></h3> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or similar</li> <li>10 or more years’ experience developing complex embedded/electronic systems from concept through verification and production readiness</li> <li>Experience leading systems engineering for products spanning RF/mixed-signal electronics, embedded firmware/OS, and application software</li> <li>Analytical skills applicable to system modeling, trade studies, and data-driven debugging</li> <li>Experience with common engineering tooling such as Python/MATLAB and systems debugging at HW/SW boundaries</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(0, 92, 185);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE&nbsp;<br>(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)</strong>&nbsp;</span></h3> <ul> <li>Familiarity with radar systems, RF design, or sensing technologies</li> <li>Experience delivering radar products into commercial markets</li> <li>Radar domain knowledge sufficient to lead architecture decisions across waveform/mode considerations and environmental constraints; hands-on experience with FMCW and/or pulse Doppler radar systems preferred</li> <li>Exposure to radar algorithms and technology improvements such as clutter mitigation, interference suppression, calibration, and tracking/state estimation such as Kalman filtering</li> </ul> <blockquote> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>Echodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.  Therefore, we will ask you as part of the application process to identify whether you are a U.S. Citizen or green card holder, or have asylum/refugee status in the U.S.</strong>&nbsp;</span></p> </blockquote> <hr> <h3><strong><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">WHAT WE OFFER</span></strong></h3> <h3>This is an exempt role.</h3><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">The expected annual salary range for this role is</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$164,594</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$246,788 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>If your skills generally align but not perfectly, please apply anyway.
