Senior FP&A Manager at Assort Health
About the Role
Every time you call a doctor's office, the system forgets you the moment you hang up. You wait on hold, explain everything from scratch, get bounced between lines, and hope someone follows up. Everyone has felt this, and no one should have to.
At Assort Health, we are building the fix: one continuous conversation for every patient, across every modality: call, text, and message. An agent that knows who you are, remembers how you like to be reached, notices when something in your care changes, and carries that from your first symptom to your full recovery.
Assort is the fastest-growing AI agents company in healthcare. Our omnichannel agents handle calls, texts, and chats from end to end, integrating with EHR and PMS systems and the real-world preferences of every provider so patients reach the care they need without the wait.
Since launching the first voice AI to answer a phone call for a patient in 2023, Assort has handled over 170M patient interactions across ~8,000 providers and cut average hold times from 11 minutes to 1, driving real ROI for the practices we serve. We have built the largest specialty healthcare voice dataset in the world, spanning 62K care protocols and 1.6M decision pathways.
We are growing fast. We went from 15 people in 2025 to 170 today and are doubling again this year. Revenue has grown 15x in the last 15 months.
Backed by Lightspeed and First Round, we have raised over $100M at a $700M valuation. We were named to the 2026 Enterprise Tech 30 (as the only healthcare AI company on the list) and the Forbes Cloud 100 alongside OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe, and Ramp.
The problem is wide open, and we are the team to solve it. If you want to build the solution for how hundreds of millions of people access care, come do it with us.
About the Role:
This is not a traditional FP&A role. You will be the financial and strategic backbone of the company — owning our financial model, driving how we think about growth and capital allocation, and serving as a trusted thought partner to the Head of Finance and leadership team. You will build the infrastructure that helps us make better decisions faster, and you will own the narratives that shape how investors, partners, and the board understand our business.
You will operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations. This is a high-ownership role with a direct line to executive leadership and significant room to grow as the company scales.
What you'll do:
The forecast, end-to-end. Run monthly, quarterly, and annual planning across revenue, OpEx, headcount, and cash. You're accountable to the Head of Finance and board for the integrity of every number in the model.
Executive business partnering. Be the senior finance partner to functional leaders across GTM, R&D, and G&A. Sit in the room when they make resource decisions, pressure-test their plans, and hold them to their commitments.
Our planning infrastructure. Lead the implementation and ongoing evolution of our planning platform (Pigment, Anaplan, or similar). Design the model architecture, data integrations, and reporting layer that will scale with us through the next several stages of growth.
Board and executive reporting. Produce the board deck, monthly operating reviews, and investor reporting. Surface weekly insights that change how the leadership team thinks — not just the variance to plan.
P&L ownership across the business. Drive initiatives to improve gross margin, optimize COGS, and increase operational leverage. You'll touch revenue recognition (ASC 606), margin improvement, capital allocation, and cash flow management.
Deal desk & pricing strategy. Partner with Sales and RevOps to establish pricing guardrails, assess deal economics, and ensure pricing strategy supports long-term value. You'll help instill financial rigor in how we think about enterprise deal structures.
Ad hoc modeling & scenario planning. Build sophisticated models to evaluate unit economics, ROI of various investments, and capital efficiency. Make the call on what we should do, not just present the numbers.
What we're looking for:
7+ years in progressive positions within FP&A, investment banking, or consulting, with 3+ years in operating finance at a high-growth, tech company.
1+ years of people management experience leading financial analysts
Strong grasp of SaaS metrics — CAC/LTV, magic number, net retention, unit economics, rule of 40. Experience with both GAAP and non-GAAP reporting.
You've built complex, driver-based financial models from scratch and know how to defend every assumption in front of investors and executives.
Excel and BI-native: you move fast in spreadsheets and know how to build dashboards that tell a clear story.
Extreme attention to detail — you obsess over accuracy, catch errors before anyone else sees them, and hold yourself to the highest standard of precision in every number, model, and deck.
Exceptional communicator — you write clearly, present with confidence to the board and executive team, and translate numbers into narratives that drive decisions.
Nice to have:
Experience with systems such as Campfire, NetSuite, Salesforce, and FP&A platforms (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, etc.)
Familiarity with SQL and low/no-code dashboarding tools (Omni, Equals, etc.)
