About the Role:
Our customers' outcomes are our product story. When SENTA converts 64% of referrals into appointments, Michigan Orthopedic Surgeons captures $2.3M in new revenue, or Annapolis Internal Medicine books 61% of flu shots through AI outreach alone — that's not just social proof. It's evidence our product works.
Your job is to build the engine that captures and activates that evidence across every customer relationship and go-to-market motion. You'll own customer marketing end to end: standing up our Customer Advisory Board, systematizing how we measure and communicate ROI, scaling case studies across video, audio, and written formats, and embedding voice-of-customer everywhere it matters — campaigns, web, events, ads, and sales collateral.
This is a strategic, revenue-tied role. You'll work directly with sales leadership, account management, and customers themselves — advocating for them, telling their stories, and building the relationships that earn us their advocacy.

What you’ll do:
Customer evidence engine. Programmatize how Assort captures, validates, and tells ROI stories. Own the measurement methodology, the production cadence, and the cross-functional workflow. Produce a steady stream of strategic content: case studies, testimonials, and content (audio, video, written) across our audiences (22 specialties and health systems) used by sales, marketing, PR, and product.
Reference Program. Orchestrate sales references, analyst references (KLAS, Gartner, Forrester), industry awards submissions, and the customer speaker pipeline for events, webinars, and press. Build the matching logic and request system that scales beyond one person fielding ad-hoc asks.
Customer Advisory Board (0>1). Stand up Assort’s first CAB. Define audience, member profile, charter, cadence, and value exchange in partnership with executive leadership. Recruit members, design programming, and run the operating cadence that earns retention and advocacy.
Marketing Activation. Ensure voice-of-customer shows up across our website, sales materials, ABM campaigns, event presence, press moments, and product launches. Partner closely with brand, content, PR, product, and design so customer evidence is integrated rather than bolted on.
AI-Augmented Operations. Use AI tools fluently (Claude, ChatGPT, Descript, Captions, HeyGen,, etc.) to compress production timelines and increase output. You’ll treat AI as core infrastructure for this role and build AI workflows that scale repetitive parts of the customer marketing function.
Detailed, clear communications. You’ll write cross-functional briefs for designers/producers, report on the performance of customer content, and draft internal comms for Assorties to get to know and advocate for our customers better.
What we’re looking for:
5–7 years in customer, content, or product marketing — with hands-on experience across customer marketing, content, and/or social media; you know what works and push the limits of those channels. Healthcare or complex B2B background a plus.
Experience engaging with, and building rapport with customers, in settings like interviews, on-site visits, and executive conversations.
Skill as a creator (video, written, audio) and communicator (written and oral; internal and external) that’s apparent in both the quality and quantity of your output.
Strong project management skills, including standing up programs from scratch and scaling them; the ability to toggle as the focus shifts.
The judgment of someone who understands that customer trust is a long-term asset, not a short-term lever.
