The focus across the broader program includes analyzing current data and system interfaces, building and maintaining data pipelines, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting other IT modernization programmatic activities. If you are interested in joining a high performing team with advancement opportunities, then look no further!</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for gathering and maintaining business and system requirements for mid-to-large enterprise applications.</li> <li>Conduct workshops with end users to gather reporting requirements to support the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process by developing operational reports and executive dashboards.</li> <li>Analyze financial data from legacy systems and determine how the data elements and transactional records should be mapped and migrated into to analytical platform.</li> <li>Translate functional requirements into technical specifications to be provided to the technical team for development.</li> <li>Test and approve the final developed artifacts as a Business Analyst.</li> <li>Determine the integration of financial datasets with that from other domains like Logistics, Human Resources etc.</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of business objectives and strategies to ensure architectural vision is fully aligned with those objectives and strategies</li> <li>Conduct workshops with customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their current data and business processes.</li> <li>Prepare and present briefings to the client and program leads on approach, courses of action and implementation status.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills/Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance are required</li> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field</li> <li>Experience: 6 years of related work experience</li> <li>Skills: <ul> <li>Experience in business process analysis/management, enterprise solution implementations, operations analysis and/or strategic planning</li> <li>Experience in planning and leading financial requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders and functional POC’s in the Federal government sector</li> <li>Experience working with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution processes at the U.S Army Budget Office.</li> <li>Experience with creating functional designs and translating functional requirements into technical specifications to generate dashboards and reports</li> <li>Experience working with SAP Financial dataset to include Budgeting, FICO, AP, AR and Invoicing in a DoD system</li> <li>Experience working with GFEBS</li> <li>Experience working as a Business Analyst and testing the end product developed by the technical developers</li> <li>Experience within a Software/Systems Development Life Cycle with solid understanding of the roles and tasks involved</li> <li>Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment</li> <li>Ability to work cross-functionally, and participate in discussions</li> <li>Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without any supervision</li> <li>Driven, self-directed personality</li> <li>Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Skills/Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience coding in Python/Pyspark and SQL preferred</li> <li>Experience working with Palantir Foundry preferred</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Application Deadline: June 15, 2026</p> </div> </div> <p><span data-contrast="auto">#LI-SA1</span></p> </div> </div> </div><div class="content-conclusion"><p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">SMX is an Equal Opportunity employer including disabilities and veterans.</div> <div id="x_Signature"></div> <p>Selected applicant may be subject to a background investigation and/or education verification.</p> <p>SMX does not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-2, E-3, L-1 and O-1, or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div>
