This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of software development and mission support in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p><strong>Clearance Requirement:</strong> TS/SCI with Polygraph</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul class="gdAMzb"> <li class="rnc2Gd"><strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="1">Infrastructure Management &amp; IaC:</span></strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="2">&nbsp;Provision, manage, and optimize AWS resources (including EC2, S3, and RDS) using CloudFormation to ensure scalable, reproducible, and secure infrastructure environments.</span></li> <li class="rnc2Gd"><strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="3">CI/CD Pipeline Engineering:</span></strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="4">&nbsp;Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and Groovy; drive the development and maintenance of shared Jenkins libraries to standardize and accelerate deployment processes.</span></li> <li class="rnc2Gd"><strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="5">Automation &amp; Tool Development:</span></strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="6">&nbsp;Develop and implement automation tools and scripts using Object-Oriented languages (Ruby, Python, or NodeJS) to streamline infrastructure tasks and facilitate effective integration with the AWS SDK.</span></li> <li class="rnc2Gd"><strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="7">Containerization &amp; Orchestration:</span></strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="8">&nbsp;Architect and manage containerized applications using Docker, while implementing scalable orchestration strategies via ECS or Docker Compose.</span></li> <li class="rnc2Gd"><strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="9">Configuration Management:</span></strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="10">&nbsp;Utilize Puppet to manage and automate software installations, ensuring consistency across environments.</span></li> <li class="rnc2Gd"><strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="11">Architectural Guidance:</span></strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="12">&nbsp;Partner closely with software development teams to provide technical guidance on AWS architectural best practices, ensuring teams utilize cloud resources efficiently and correctly.</span></li> <li class="rnc2Gd"><strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="13">Hybrid System Administration:</span></strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="14">&nbsp;Serve as a bridge between software engineering and systems administration, supporting the stability of customer Operating Systems and contributing to the overall reliability of the infrastructure.</span></li> <li class="rnc2Gd"><strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="15">Team Collaboration:</span></strong><span class="rnc2Gd" data-ast-node-id="16">&nbsp;Foster a collaborative team environment by acting as a proactive, helpful resource, actively learning new technologies, and providing mentorship to peers when required.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5 or more years of AWS experience. This includes building AWS resources using Cloud formation and interacting with them as well using AWS SDKs such as Ruby, Python, and Java.</li> <li>5 or more years of Object Oriented Programming background: Ruby, Python, Java, or NodeJS.</li> <li>Experience with Jenkins and creating Jenkins Pipelines while having and understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices</li> <li>At least 1 to 2 years of experience with Docker and some type of container orchestration tool, Docker Compose, ECS.</li> <li>5 years of Bash shell scripting experience.</li> <li>At least 2 years experience with GitHub and any branching strategy.</li> <li>Team player and work well with others regardless of skill levels.
