Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities, who are otherwise qualified, to perform the essential functions.</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design and development of test fixtures and tools for product acceptance testing, focusing on test-automation</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and maintain automated tests, fixtures, and test procedures</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Requirement derivation, tracking and verification for test solutions</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Integration and test of test fixtures, completing validation of test hardware prior to release for use in manufacturing</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support of test activities prior to full-rate production, as needed</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Providing sustaining engineering support for released products through design of specified changes and new features for existing hardware</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">May work under technical supervision and/or pre-established guidelines to develop skills and perform project tasks.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Developing test plans, methods, procedures and documentation for design verification testing (DVT)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support of DVT and qualification testing, as needed</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in Trust Automation’s design and development processes, including design reviews</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist Program Managers and Trust VPs with project/program planning, including specification of system application solutions, task prioritization, and risk mitigation</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to project/program success by meeting deliverables on schedule and within budget</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Position Requirements</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Minimum Qualifications:</span> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hardware design experience, using tools like SolidWorks and/or Altium</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic electronics knowledge, familiarity with digital and analog circuits</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Testing equipment experience (oscilloscope, DVM, function generator, logic analyzer, etc…)</span></li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Practical experience in PCB level component troubleshooting</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Practical experience in electrical system level troubleshooting</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with microcontroller and DSP architectures preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with communication interfaces/protocols: SPI, I2C, Modbus, USB, CAN, RS232/RS422/RS485, Ethernet, EtherCAT is preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with data acquisition systems is preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with agile development processes preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with mechatronics and embedded system preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Thrives in an innovative, multidisciplinary design team environment</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Professional written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to manage time effectively and work effectively with teammates and management</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This position may be asked to drive for company purposes during the course of employment.
