About the Role

<p><strong>Solution Engineer / Technical Specialist (Resilio Team)</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:&nbsp; </strong>EAST Coast — United States - remote&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>Nasuni is expanding its platform capabilities through the acquisition of <strong>Resilio</strong>, a leader in real-time data movement and edge data synchronization. This role sits on the <a href="https://www.resilio.com/"><strong>Resilio team within Nasuni</strong>,</a> supporting customers with high-performance, distributed data workflows across hybrid and edge environments.</p> <p>We are hiring a <strong>Solution Engineer</strong> to drive technical success across the pre-sales cycle—owning product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical validation for customers evaluating Resilio-powered solutions.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who:</p> <ul> <li>Thrives in customer-facing technical environments</li> <li>Can translate complex infrastructure into clear business value</li> <li>Enjoys hands-on deployment, troubleshooting, and solution design</li> </ul> <p>This role is <strong>not</strong> for candidates who prefer purely internal or support-only roles without direct customer engagement.</p> <p><strong>Level &amp; Scope Definition</strong></p> <ul> <li>Owns the <strong>technical win</strong> in the sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise opportunities</li> <li>Operates independently across multiple deals with moderate complexity</li> <li>Leads <strong>POCs, demos, and deployment validation</strong> with customers</li> <li>Partners closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success</li> <li>Provides <strong>solution-level guidance</strong>, not product roadmap ownership</li> <li>Focus is <strong>execution with influence</strong>, not strategic territory ownership</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead technical discovery conversations to understand customer data architecture, workflows, and constraints</li> <li>Design and deliver tailored <strong>product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs)</strong> using Resilio technology</li> <li>Guide customers through <strong>installation, configuration, and deployment</strong> in hybrid and cloud environments</li> <li>Advise on best practices for:</li> <ul> <li>Distributed data synchronization</li> <li>Network and storage architecture</li> <li>Performance optimization and scalability</li> </ul> <li>Partner with Account Executives to <strong>progress deals and remove technical blockers</strong></li> <li>Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales</li> <li>Use scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and automation tools to accelerate deployments and troubleshooting</li> <li>Apply AI-assisted tools (where appropriate) to improve demo preparation, troubleshooting efficiency, and customer insights</li> <li>Represent Nasuni and the Resilio platform at customer meetings, events, and technical workshops</li> <li>Contribute to technical documentation, enablement content, and reusable demo assets</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Must-Have Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>7–9+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or customer-facing technical roles</li> <li>Hands-on experience deploying and supporting <strong>distributed systems, storage, or data infrastructure solutions</strong></li> <li>Strong knowledge of:</li> <ul> <li>Networking fundamentals (VPNs, subnets, firewalls)</li> <li>Storage systems and performance considerations</li> </ul> <li>Experience with <strong>Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (Azure preferred)</strong></li> <li>Ability to independently run <strong>technical demos, POCs, and customer deployments</strong></li> <li>Experience using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, CLI tools) for troubleshooting or automation</li> <li>Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>data replication, synchronization, or edge data technologies</strong></li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>Azure infrastructure and automation services</strong></li> <li>Experience supporting <strong>enterprise or mid-market customers in pre-sales cycles</strong></li> <li>Exposure to AI-assisted tools for workflow efficiency (e.g., automation, diagnostics, or content generation)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Ideal Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in <strong>high-performance data transfer or real-time data orchestration platforms</strong></li> <li>Background in hybrid cloud or edge computing architectures</li> <li>Proven track record influencing technical wins in complex sales cycles</li> <li>Experience creating reusable demo environments or automation frameworks</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience Guidelines</strong></p> <ul> <li>7–9+ years total experience in technical roles</li> <li>3–5+ years in customer-facing (Sales Engineering or similar) roles</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working across <strong>multiple concurrent customer engagements</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>What is&nbsp;Nasuni?</strong></p> <p data-start="176" data-end="452"><strong data-start="176" data-end="192">About Nasuni</strong><br data-start="192" data-end="195">Nasuni delivers the world’s best NAS solution, built for the cloud, ready for AI.
