Headquartered in Needham, Massachusetts with more than 4,100 associates, the company’s products are sold at key retailers, online and offline, and through distributors around the world.   </div>Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:   <ul> <li>Take ownership of packaging supplier strategy across key categories (corrugate, gift box, molded pulp, labels, manuals, flexible materials, foams, and other protective packaging), ensuring cost, quality, capacity, and sustainability performance.</li> <li>Build, maintain, and govern packaging AVLs by identifying, qualifying, onboarding, and developing suppliers that align to SharkNinja product, regional, and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Partner with Packaging Engineering, Quality, Sustainability, and Regulatory teams to scout, assess, and commercialize compliant material opportunities, including recycled content, paper-based alternatives, mono-material, and plastic-reduction solutions.</li> <li>Develop should-cost and total-cost models for packaging that include material conversion, tooling, freight, duties, EPR schemes, packaging taxes, eco-modulated fees, and other regulatory cost exposure.</li> <li>Lead RFQs, supplier negotiations, and cost-down initiatives to deliver the best balance of cost, performance, compliance, and speed to market.</li> <li>Monitor supplier capabilities, market trends, and packaging regulations; recommend new sources, technology options, and risk mitigation plans to strengthen supply security and sustainability performance.</li> <li>Maintain packaging cost trackers, AVL records, supplier scorecards, and executive-ready summaries, while operating with a multi-cultural working style across China and global teams.</li> </ul>   You are Expected: <ul> <li>6–8+ years of experience in packaging sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or packaging engineering within home appliances, consumer goods, or a related industry, ideally in multinational environments</li> <li>Strong knowledge of packaging materials, converting processes, tooling, and cost drivers across paper, plastic, molded fiber, labels, inserts, and protective packaging</li> <li>Hands-on experience building and managing AVLs, supplier qualification, supplier development, and commercial negotiations</li> <li>Familiarity with packaging sustainability requirements and regional regulations, including EPR, packaging taxes/fees, recyclability, recycled content, and restricted-substance compliance</li> <li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build should-cost and total-cost models and translate regulatory impacts into sourcing recommendations</li> <li>Proficient in English and Mandarin (verbal and written), able to independently manage communication with both Chinese and international suppliers</li> <li>Self-motivated and independent, with strong stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills</li> <li>Strong execution, negotiation, persuasion, and cross-functional collaboration skills</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and project management tools; ERP/PLM experience is a plus</li> </ul> Education/Certifications/Affiliations <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline preferred</li> <li>MBA, CPSM, packaging-related certification, or sustainability/compliance training is an advantage</li> </ul> Travel Requirements <ul> <li>Regular travel across East and South China (Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, etc.) and periodic travel across Southeast Asia to support supplier qualification, audits, and development</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><div> Our Culture At SharkNinja, we don’t just raise the bar—we push past it every single day.  Our Outrageously Extraordinary mindset drives us to tackle the impossible, push boundaries, and deliver results that others only dream of.
