What You Will Do: The Valuations Associate will be responsible for supporting the PE investment valuations for semi-liquid Regulated and Registered Funds. This individual will lead the periodic fair valuation policies and practices. This role will report into the VP of Valuations.   Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Review of period end portfolio NAV and SEC reporting</li> <li>Partner with fund reporting team to assess and review independent fair value inputs and its impact monthly portfolio valuation into Fund’s NAV</li> <li>Assist with maintenance and review of internal regulatory reporting requirements</li> <li>Manage Fund’s long-term valuation strategy</li> <li>Develop internal systems ensuring valuations are integrated with other investment strategies</li> <li>Conduct technical accounting research ensuring appropriate application to Funds and underlying investments</li> <li>Maintain SEC reporting disclosure checklist/reporting calendar ensuring timely compliance</li> </ul>   What You’ll Need: <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of operational or financial service experience</li> <li>Bachelor’s and master’s degree with major in accounting and/or finance, CPA or CFA preferred</li> <li>Public and/or private prior experience preferred</li> <li>Fair Value reporting experience including working knowledge of valuation modeling</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM applications</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with good time management, the ability to multi-task, analytical skills, and organization</li> <li>Ability to efficiently communicate through oral and written communication</li> <li>Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities</li> </ul>   Salary Range At Petra Funds Group, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The compensation range for this position is $102,000 - $153,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only.
