Come join our team and help us create secure cloud environments that allow even the best companies to move faster, all while having some fun!</div><h3>Minimum qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>At least 3 years of experience in a technical writing role documenting complex technical products, cloud platforms, and/or developer tools.</li> <li>STEM degree or equivalent professional experience (e.g., software development, QA, analytics, SOC, Incident Response, or IT).</li> <li>Mother-tongue level English with exceptional written communication skills and a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise docs.</li> <li>The ability to learn independently by exploring documentation, testing products, and diving into technical resources.</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and/or B2B SaaS.</li> <li>Docs-as-Code Proficiency: Hands-on experience working directly with tools such as Git, GitHub or GitLab, VS Code, and markdown.</li> <li>Familiarity leveraging GenAI tools & AI coding assistants such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.</li> </ul> <h3>About the job</h3> We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our Product team and help spread the power of Wiz. As our product continues to grow and evolve rapidly, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of documentation projects, both large and small. If you believe in the power of clear communication, have a sharp eye for detail, and want to be part of a strong, can-do team - we’d love to have you with us! <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Develop In-Product Feature Communications: Partner closely with Product Managers to write and publish roadmap updates, feature previews, release updates, and announcements directly in the portal.</li> <li>Use Docs-as-Code Workflows: Manage documentation source files using GitHub and Markdown, leveraging pull requests and automated pipelines to draft, review, and ship technical content.</li> <li>Leverage AI to Research & Draft: Use Generative AI tools as a force multiplier to research complex topics, extract context from engineering specs, and draft comprehensive documentation faster without sacrificing accuracy.</li> <li>Craft In-Product Guidance & Microcopy: Write concise portal page descriptions, UI tooltips, and guided tours to help users navigate features directly within the application.</li> <li>Optimize Content for AI Retrieval & Search: Structure documentation architecture, metadata, and markdown files so technical content can be effectively ingested and accurately referenced by both internal and customer-facing AI assistants and AI-powered features.</li> <li>Validate & Maintain Troubleshooting Content: Coordinate directly with Developers, Security Experts, and Support Engineers to maintain accurate troubleshooting guides and technical resources.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need for visa sponsorship.
