This is not a strictly front-end or back-end role; we need someone who is energized by operating across the entire stack. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills to a team that values transparency, proactive problem-solving, and deep peer collaboration.</p> </div> <h3><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li class="" data-start="1153" data-end="1224">Design, build, and maintain features across the stack using GoLang and React.</li> <li class="" data-start="1225" data-end="1306">Manage and monitor deployments using AWS and leverage New Relic for alerting and system analysis.</li> <li class="" data-start="1307" data-end="1404">Serve as an on-call support engineer approximately once every other month during business hours (no after-hours standby) to monitor systems and act as the deployment point of contact.</li> <li class="" data-start="1405" data-end="1484">Contribute to an open peer-review process—reviewing others' code and welcoming constructive feedback on your own.</li> <li class="" data-start="1485" data-end="1594">Engage in regular 1:1s with the Director of Engineering to ensure alignment and professional growth.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>&nbsp;Some Must-Haves:</strong></h3> <div> <ul> <li class="" data-start="1896" data-end="1965">Professional experience with GoLang, Redis, and RESTful API development.</li> <li class="" data-start="1966" data-end="2012">Strong skills in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and MUI (or comparable component libraries).</li> <li class="" data-start="2013" data-end="2095">Experience with mobile-first development and a firm understanding of accessibility standards (color contrast, screen reader support, etc.).</li> <li class="" data-start="2096" data-end="2138">Familiarity with AWS and monitoring tools like New Relic.</li> <li class="" data-start="2139" data-end="2261">A transparent communicator who is comfortable in a highly collaborative, peer-review-heavy environment.</li> </ul> </div> <div> <h3><strong>Where We're Looking For It:</strong></h3> Latin America</div> <div>Open to 100% Fully Remote</div> <h3><strong>Other Information</strong></h3> <p>The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it.
