Coupang started the business in Taiwan from 2022 and the business is</p> <p class="p1">growing fast, and we see many opportunities there. The team has end-to-end</p> <p class="p1">ownership of Taiwan systems, and we are working with Taiwan business</p> <p class="p1">stakeholders, product team very closely to wow the customers and scale the</p> <p class="p1">business. We will record another history of Coupang in Taiwan. We develop and</p> <p class="p2"><span class="s1">maintain scalable and sustainable </span>platforms to empower our business, including</p> <p class="p2">but not limited to Search Advertising Platform, Affiliate Platform, Display</p> <p class="p2">targeting &amp; re-targeting Platform, CRM, Audience Platform, Push Marketing</p> <p class="p2">Platform, and other core marketing services for landing, tracking, personalization</p> <p class="p2">&amp; attribution. We build multiple powerful tools to onboard</p> <p class="p2">partners to our affiliate program, including a creative creation and sharing tool, an</p> <p class="p2">AI-based recommendation engine, and a flexible commission settlement/payment</p> <p class="p2">system.</p> <p class="p2"><span class="s2">l</span> Architect, design and build scalable systems that will have a direct impact on</p> <p class="p2">customer acquisition, experience, conversion and retention</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s4">l</span> Develop close relationships with Product and tech team in China and Korea</p> <p class="p2"><span class="s2">l</span> Establish and execute short and long-term architectural roadmaps for the</p> <p class="p2">business</p> <p class="p2"><span class="s2">l</span> Drive continuous improvement to the efficiency and flexibility of the platform</p> <p class="p2">and services while keeping high bar for customer trust, performance and</p> <p class="p2">availability</p> <p class="p1">Basic Requirements:</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s2">l</span> Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent</p> <p class="p1">fields</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s2">l</span> 10+ years of industry experience of increasing responsibility leading a group</p> <p class="p1">of engineers, 5+ years of experience in software development in large</p> <p class="p1">distributed systems, web services and Java capability</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s2">l</span> Knowledge of container and microservice deployment technology, such as</p> <p class="p1">Kubernetes、Docker etc; familiar with monitoring tools, such as</p> <p class="p1">Prometheus、Grafana etc</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s2">l</span> Experience in designing and implementing high-concurrency, high-availability,</p> <p class="p1">and high-scalability systems;</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s2">l</span> Familiar with distributed system architecture, microservice architecture and</p> <p class="p1">design, and message queue, cache, database etc core backend knowledge</p> <p class="p1"><span class="s2">l</span> Growth mindset, company-wide perspective.
