<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <p>The Lab Courier is responsible for the timely pickup, transfer, and delivery of medical specimens and records between laboratories, practice offices, and clinics.</p> <p><strong>Hours are 3 - 4 hours daily from 4 PM - 8 PM, Monday - Friday</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p> <p>To perform effectively in this role, the candidate must fulfill the following duties with or without reasonable accommodations:</p> <ul> <li>Operate a company vehicle during the shift across various roads and weather conditions.</li> <li>Safely transport laboratory specimens, medical records, pharmacy items, interoffice mail, and other related materials in a timely and efficient manner.</li> <li>Exhibit safe and courteous driving practices.</li> <li>Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, ensuring positive interactions with patients, vendors, employees, and the public.</li> <li>Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure the company vehicle remains clean, organized, and well-maintained.</li> <li>Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.</li> <li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li> <li>Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role.</li> <li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>This role requires a proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic healthcare environment.
