<div class="content-intro"><p><img src="https://caddell.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Build-your-career.png" alt="" width="822" style="max-width: 100%;"></p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Job Title –&nbsp;</strong>Safety Manager - Commercial&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location – </strong>Various domestic locations</p> <p><strong>Resumes will be reviewed continually.</strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Arial Black',sans-serif; color: #004d71;">Rewards of Working at Caddell - Paid vacations, company-paid holidays, company-funded medical insurance.&nbsp; Company joint funding of dental and vision insurance, life and disability plans to full-time employees, 401k match, gym membership reimbursement, and use of company condominiums.</span></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style=" line-height: normal;"><strong><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: #691c32;">What You Will Do</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Plans, implements and supervises project safety guidelines and ensures that accident and fire protection programs comply with the Caddell Corporate Safety Program on the assigned project.</li> <li>Consult with the Corporate Safety Manager to develop safe work plans for all project phases and crew tasks.</li> <li>Conducts thorough daily safety inspections of all active work areas and documents these inspections.</li> <li>Consult with field staff on safety issues, policies, procedures, and regulations.</li> <li>Conducts initial safety orientation sessions for new hires.</li> <li>Monitors housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe environment.</li> <li>Serves as construction safety liaison with owner and subcontractors.</li> <li>Prepares and submits all required safety-related reports.</li> <li>Conducts post-accident and property damage investigations.</li> <li>Performs additional assignments per Corporate Safety Manager’s direction.</li> <li><strong>Working Conditions</strong>&nbsp;– Construction setting, travel required, full-time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods, lift and hold more than 50 lbs, talk, hear, and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Subject to hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions depending on location.</li> <li><strong>Reporting Structure –&nbsp;</strong>Corporate Safety Manager</li> </ul> <p class="MsoNormal" style=" line-height: normal;"><strong><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: #691c32; ">What We Expect</span></strong></p> <p><strong>Accountability is part of The Caddell Way and our employees share in a strong work ethic and positive team environment.&nbsp; There is a true sense of purpose and teamwork.&nbsp; </strong></p> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities –&nbsp;</strong>Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization skills.&nbsp; Working knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations.&nbsp; Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</p> <p>Certifications, Licenses, etc.: OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, Competent Persons Training.</p> <p><strong>Education / Experience -&nbsp;</strong>Minimum high school diploma/GED and five years experience in safety management required.&nbsp; Four-year degree in Occupational Safety and Health and 10 years experience preferred.&nbsp; The education/experience requirements may vary depending on specified job requirements.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style=" line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial Black',sans-serif; color: #691c32;">Your career matters at Caddell, where there is a strong emphasis on the growth and development of every employee!
