Apply today and make an impact at Core Scientific.</p> <p><strong>Title</strong><br>Corporate Development Associate</p> <p><strong>Reports To</strong><br>Director, FP&amp;A</p> <p><strong>The Job </strong></p> <p>We are seeking a high-performing Corporate Development Associate to join our Corporate Development team. This role is designed for candidates with 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment who are looking to transition into an operating role with direct exposure to senior leadership.</p> <p>The role offers meaningful ownership across corporate strategy, M&amp;A, capital allocation, and strategic planning, with frequent interaction with the executive team and cross-functional leaders. This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy solving complex, unstructured problems and translating analysis into action.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><em>Strategy &amp; Analytics</em></p> <ul> <li>Support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including long-range planning, portfolio strategy, and growth opportunity assessment</li> <li>Conduct analyses on market trends, competitive dynamics, customer economics, and capacity expansion</li> <li>Develop structured insights to inform executive decision-making</li> </ul> <p><em>Financial Modeling &amp; Valuation</em></p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain detailed financial models, including operating models, investment cases, ROI / IRR analyses, and scenario modeling</li> <li>Evaluate capital allocation decisions across organic growth, M&amp;A, and partnerships</li> <li>M&amp;A and Strategic Transactions</li> <li>Support end-to-end execution of M&amp;A, divestitures, and strategic partnerships</li> <li>Coordinate diligence, valuation, and integration planning</li> <li>Work with internal stakeholders and external advisors</li> <li>Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><em>Required</em></p> <ul> <li>2–3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate development, or related roles</li> <li>Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint</li> </ul> <p><em>Preferred</em></p> <ul> <li>Experience with infrastructure, data centers, energy, or capital-intensive businesses</li> <li>Exposure to M&amp;A, strategic investments, or corporate planning</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location</strong></p> <p>Miami, FL (on-site)</p> <p><strong>Travel </strong></p> <p>Minimal travel may be required.</p> <p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p> <p>This job operates in a professional office environment.
