The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Go programming language and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang)</li> <li>Implement efficient data models and database schemas in PostgreSQL</li> <li>Optimize database queries and ensure high performance for large-scale applications</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code</li> <li>Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems</li> <li>Integrate data storage solutions and ensure data security and compliance</li> <li>Architect, implement, and maintain microservices-based solutions.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers</li> <li>Work with DevOps to deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)</li> <li>Contribute to technical documentation and best practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>5–8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in Go</li> <li>Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning</li> <li>Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices and working with JSON</li> <li>Familiarity with version control systems (Git)</li> <li>Understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)</li> <li>Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills</li> <li>Experience with Kubernetes and Docker</li> <li>Familiarity with Kafka</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis) and key-value stores</li> <li>Familiarity with front-end technologies (React) is a plus</li> <li>Familiarity with Kafka</li> </ul>
