This is an individual-contributor role that will partner closely with the team’s in-house and contributing editors and writers. We’re especially interested in candidates who can speak to specific area(s) of insurance expertise — home, auto, health, or other lines — but who are also comfortable working across a wide range of insurance products.    How You’ll Make an Impact As deputy editor, you will assist with the full editorial process: assigning, editing, and publishing. You’ll partner with writers and other editors to sharpen content quality, substance, and style, and you’ll oversee editorial workflows and publishing priorities, proactively resolving challenges, so that high-quality content ships on schedule. You may also write content yourself as needed.  You’ll also think beyond individual articles, understanding how each piece fits into the broader content library and contributes to the vertical’s overall performance. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and organize a rapidly expanding content library at a pivotal stage of growth.  Serving as one of our in-house insurance specialists, your expert guidance will help readers make informed, confident decisions on insurance.
