<p><strong><span style="color: rgb(224, 62, 45); font-size: 14pt;"><em>**Now Offering DailyPay**</em></span></strong></p> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">Overview<strong>&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p>The Unit Manager plans, coordinates and manages the clinical services for a specific nursing unit.&nbsp; Responsible for coordinating the nursing care services provided to residents as well as facilitating the interdisciplinary team.</p> <p><strong>Shift: M-F 8a-5p with on call rotation</strong></p> <p><strong>ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience.</li> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.</li> <li>Knowledge of applicable state &amp; Federal regulations.</li> <li>Current State RN License.</li> <li>CEU’s as required by the State.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>This list is subject to individual facility policies, procedures and practices, which may require additional duties and responsibilities.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates interdisciplinary care and treatment plan in conjunction with staff, attending physician, other disciplines, the resident and families and/or significant others.</li> <li>Supervises personnel with defined expectations and implements the disciplinary action process when appropriate.</li> <li>Participates in education, training, and orientation programs of the Unit to contribute to increased knowledge, skills and licensure.</li> <li>Oversees all safety issues of the Unit.</li> <li>Coordinates weekly meetings regarding skin, I/A, change of conditions, restraints, and the input of care conference.</li> <li>Coordinates, participates in, or facilitates monthly meetings regarding: QA/QI, Family meetings, MARS/TARS, and participates and delivers in-services, evening and night shift spot checks.</li> <li>Makes daily rounds.</li> <li>Ensure behavior monitoring and AIMS testing are complete.</li> <li>Reviews daily documentation and orders, labs, bowel and bladder programs.</li> <li>Ensures physician and families are notified of change of condition.</li> <li>Follow up with all residents and family concerns.</li> <li>Monitor nursing assistant assignment sheet for accuracy and needed items.</li> <li>Follows Infection Control Protocols and skilled protocols when applicable.</li> <li>Provides weekly and monthly reports on incidents, skin, restraints, psychoactive medication use, weight changes, abuse, infection control, Foley catheters, feeding tubes, quality assurance.</li> <li>Participates in a rotational on-call system for the nursing department.&nbsp; May be asked to fill a shift for call in staff.</li> <li>Performs general nursing duties in cases of emergency or staffing shortage.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
