<p>The OFCI Equipment Procurement Manager – Data Centers is responsible for the technical and commercial procurement of <strong>Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI)</strong> equipment for mission-critical data center facilities. The role ensures that long-lead, high-reliability power and cooling equipment meets stringent performance, redundancy, and availability requirements while aligning procurement schedules with construction, commissioning, and go-live milestones.</p>
<p>This position reports to the Procurement Manager EU Team Lead and is a remote position serving the geographically distributed projects for the company. </p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-charstyle="Strong">Your responsibilities will include:</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true}"> </span></p>
<p><strong>Technical Scope & Engineering Coordination</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Define OFCI equipment scope in collaboration with data center design, engineering, and construction teams</li>
<li>Review and validate technical specifications, single-line diagrams, layouts, and equipment datasheets with data center design, engineering, and construction teams</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with data center design criteria (Tier levels, redundancy, fault tolerance, uptime targets)</li>
<li>Manage technical clarifications, deviations, and vendor compliance matrices</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Vendor Selection & Technical Procurement</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Issue RFQs/RFPs for critical data center infrastructure equipment</li>
<li>Lead technical and commercial bid evaluations with engineering stakeholders</li>
<li>Conduct vendor technical interviews and design alignment workshops</li>
<li>Negotiate contracts covering performance guarantees, availability, FAT requirements, delivery milestones, and warranties</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Critical Equipment Oversight</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage procurement and delivery of long-lead, mission-critical equipment, including:</li>
<li>Electrical<strong>:</strong> generators, medium- and low-voltage switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, PDUs, busways</li>
<li>Mechanical<strong>:</strong> chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, heat exchangers</li>
<li>Controls & Monitoring<strong>:</strong> BMS, EPMS, SCADA, protection and control systems</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Manufacturing, FAT & Quality Control</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Monitor vendor engineering, manufacturing, and testing schedules</li>
<li>Review vendor drawings, protection studies, and control logic</li>
<li>Coordinate and participate in FATs, integrated systems testing (where applicable), and inspections</li>
<li>Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and technical change control</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Logistics, Site Delivery & Installation Readiness</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop logistics strategies for oversized and critical equipment</li>
<li>Coordinate international shipping, customs clearance, and just-in-time delivery</li>
<li>Ensure equipment preservation, storage, and environmental controls on site</li>
<li>Support installation readiness reviews and contractor handover</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Schedule, Risk & Interface Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Track long-lead items and procurement activities on the project critical path</li>
<li>Identify and mitigate risks related to capacity, lead times, factory constraints, and supply chain disruptions</li>
<li>Coordinate interfaces between OFCI equipment and contractor-installed systems</li>
<li>Provide detailed procurement and risk reporting to project leadership</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Documentation, Commissioning & Handover</strong></p>
<ul>

<li>Ensure completeness and accuracy of as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and warranties</li>
<li>Support commissioning, IST, and turnover to operations teams</li>
<li>Close out OFCI packages in accordance with data center operational requirements</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-charstyle="Strong">We expect you to have:</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, (i.e. Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, etc.) or equivalent combination of experience and technical training.</p>
</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in technical procurement or engineering for data centers or mission-critical facilities</li>
<li>Proven experience procuring long-lead, high-reliability OFCI equipment</li>
<li>Strong understanding of critical power and cooling systems</li>
<li>Experience with FATs, commissioning, and contractor coordination</li>
</ul>
