Verifies supplier compliance with all purchase order requirements, specifications and/or drawing requirements.  </li> <li>Performs in-process inspections of assembled hardware per drawing requirements, verifies accuracy of entries on data sheets, work orders, adhesive mixes, and other data-keeping systems.  </li> <li>Performs finals inspections of assembled hardware per drawing requirements and is the liaison to the program Quality Engineer (Reports quality problems or findings to the QE). Assists Quality Engineering and Operations in the investigation of non-conformities.  </li> <li>Investigate manufacturing product quality and compliance issues reported from the field, analyze results, determine root cause/probable cause, and initiate and review reports.  </li> <li>Participate in escalation tasks and activities, including Project Risk Assessments (PRA) and Corrective/Preventive action(s) – CAPAs, SCARs, as determination by</li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in aerospace industry or equivalent discipline  </li> <li>5+ years of professional experience in quality inspection   </li> <li>Familiarity with IPC 610, IPC 620, IPC 7711/7721, and J-STD-001 Standards  </li> <li>Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO9001 requirements  </li> <li>Familiarity reading GD&T drawings and verifying measurements   </li> <li>Experience with product or device complaints, investigations, and/or root cause analysis  </li> <li>Experience with NCRs, FMEAs, CAPAs, or Product Risk Assessments  </li> <li>Passion for the space industry  </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team </li> </ul> COMPENSATION <ul> <li>Inspector Level 1: $32-50/hr</li> <li>Inspector Level 2: $40-60/hr</li> <li>Inspector Level 3: $45-75/hr</li> <li>Senior Inspector: $55-90/hr</li> </ul> <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave </li> </ul> Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.  ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS <ul> <li>Work Location—this a fully onsite position based out of our Long Beach, CA office.</li> <li>Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.</li> <li>Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.</li> </ul> This position will be open until it is successfully filled.
