<p>Fix -It Group is one of the fastest-growing home service platforms in the United States. We currently have 7 locations in 5 states and are in the process of opening 4 more locations in an additional 4 states. We provide HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services with industry-leading customer experience. As we continue to grow, we are building the next generation of leaders to drive revenue, develop teams, and lead high-performing service operations.</p>
<p>This role is for General Manager in Training and is based out of the Dallas location, The On Time Experts in Garland, TX.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for <strong>big-box retail leaders</strong> (Store Managers, General Managers, District Managers, Co- and Assistant Managers) who are ready to transition into the trades industry and grow into senior leadership.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong><br>Our General Manager in Training (GMIT) program prepares future General Managers by teaching every aspect of running a high-performing service business.</p>
<p>You will work closely with senior leadership to learn how to drive revenue, manage operations, develop teams, and coach technicians on sales and customer experience.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Drive revenue growth and improve team sales performance<br>• Coach technicians on customer communication and sales skills<br>• Lead sales training <br>• Monitor KPIs, performance dashboards, and operational metrics<br>• Help manage P&L, payroll, margins, and operational performance<br>• Lead team meetings and build a culture of accountability<br>• Support recruiting, hiring, and development of strong team members</li>

<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Leadership experience managing teams and driving sales performance<br>• Experience managing KPIs, P&L, and operational metrics<br>• Strong coaching and team development skills<br>• Competitive, results-driven leadership style<br>• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills<br>• Experience in retail, service, or high-volume operations preferred<br>• Trades experience not required – we provide training</li>
