This role focuses on End-of-Line (EOL) vehicle quality validation, launch support, data analysis, and production issue investigations to ensure vehicles meet customer expectations and company quality standards.</p> <p>Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Product Engineering, and Plant NVH Technicians, the Plant NVH Engineer will assist in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving vehicle NVH concerns through objective testing, subjective evaluations, and data-driven analysis.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>&nbsp;</p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td width="138"> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </td> <td width="534"> <p><strong>End-of-Line NVH Quality Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support daily monitoring of plant NVH quality metrics and production trends.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining and improving EOL NVH screening processes and acceptance criteria.</li> <li>Analyze production data to identify potential quality concerns and emerging trends.</li> <li>Support validation of vehicle quality standards through objective and subjective assessments.</li> <li>Assist with development and implementation of new diagnostic methods and test procedures.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Production Issue Investigation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Participate in root cause investigations for vehicle noise, vibration, and harshness concerns identified during manufacturing.</li> <li>Support vehicle-level and subsystem-level testing activities.</li> <li>Collect and analyze data to identify potential contributors to NVH issues.</li> <li>Assist with containment activities and corrective action validation.</li> <li>Document findings and communicate results to cross-functional teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Launch Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support NVH readiness activities during vehicle launches and production ramp-up.</li> <li>Assist with validation of manufacturing processes and EOL screening systems.</li> <li>Collect and review launch vehicle data to identify opportunities for improvement.</li> <li>Participate in pilot builds and production validation activities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Testing &amp; Analysis</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform objective and subjective vehicle evaluations.</li> <li>Utilize microphones, accelerometers, SCADAS systems, Squadriga systems, and other measurement equipment to collect diagnostic data.</li> <li>Analyze vibration and acoustic measurements using approved software tools and methodologies.</li> <li>Generate reports and summaries to support engineering investigations and decision making.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Service Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Product Engineering teams.</li> <li>Support troubleshooting activities related to vehicle NVH performance.</li> <li>Communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.</li> <li>Work closely with Plant NVH Technicians to ensure accurate and repeatable data collection.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support initiatives aimed at improving NVH quality and manufacturing performance.</li> <li>Assist with reduction of warranty-related NVH concerns through early defect detection.</li> <li>Participate in process improvement projects and implementation of best practices.</li> <li>Contribute to improving diagnostic capability and test efficiency.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>&nbsp;</p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td width="138"> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> </td> <td width="534"> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
