In this cross-functional leadership role, you will drive strategic direction, manage complex program lifecycles, oversee subcontractor performance, and lead high-impact teams across engineering, operations, and mission delivery. Your expertise&nbsp;in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and program execution will play a key role in advancing our national security mission and operational excellence in the space domain.</p> <p class="elementToProof"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations&nbsp;</li> <li>Create, implement, and own the coordinated program baseline (cost, schedule, technical) with the chief engineer&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead, successfully integrate, and execute space vehicle missions as well as product delivery for service-based contracts&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Direct the responsibilities and activities of the program team including program management, systems engineering, communications and IT, mission operations, facilities management, security, safety, and contracts/financial/supply chain support functions&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Support establishing a centralized, coordinating body for PM concerns, recommendations, &amp; issues; developing recommended process improvements; facilitating opportunities with Finance&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide strategic direction, set priorities, and resolve day-to-day issues to deliver schedule and budget&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform risk/issue assessments, tracking, resolution, escalation, and closeout to ensure satisfactory program performance&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop innovative solutions to resolve difficult program challenges including cost, schedule, and technical performance&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee and manage subcontractor activities and deliverables&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead preparations of bids, proposals, studies, and deliverables&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and lead internal and external program management reviews</li> </ul> <p class="elementToProof"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience and skills in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing risk and cost, schedule, and technical baselines for an aerospace program with an emphasis in space vehicles&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with customer interfacing and National Security aerospace programs&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to establish new &amp; further refining existing templates, tools, &amp; guidelines for program documentation &amp; execution&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong analytical background with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li> <div class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing">Full life cycle experience from development to deployment of a space relevant system</div> </li> <li>Eligible for Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance</li> <li><span data-ccp-props="{}">Ability to travel 25-50% as needed.</span></li> <li> <div class="elementToProof">Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 7&nbsp;years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 5&nbsp;years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9&nbsp;years of prior related experience</div> </li> </ul> <p class="elementToProof"><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master’s Degree&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work within a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team environment to complete contractual commitments&nbsp;
