You will serve as the owner of program execution—driving clarity, alignment, predictability, and accountability across engineering, production, security and program office.&nbsp;</p> <p>In this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of complex, cutting edge, never before operated missile defense system, managing risk proactively, and leading programs through ambiguity. You will&nbsp;operate&nbsp;at the intersection of technical execution and program leadership,&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;authority over delivery plans, escalation paths, and cross-functional dependencies.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of program sprints, for True Anomaly’s missile defense program.&nbsp;</li> <li>Own program execution: define delivery plans, manage scope and milestones, and drive accountability across engineering and cross-functional teams.&nbsp;</li> <li>Serve as the primary delivery interface with internal engineering and program office on the execution of the program, compiling metrics on program health and status</li> <li>Translate product requirements into actionable technical plans in partnership with engineering, ensuring alignment with engineering architecture and mission needs.&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in architectural discussions, highlighting risks,&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;gaps, and ensuring decisions support delivery timelines, security posture, and system reliability.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage and resolve cross-team dependencies across engineering, production, security and program office;&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a real-time dependency map for all initiatives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Track program performance using execution metrics (velocity, predictability, defect trends, release readiness) and drive continuous improvement.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proactively&nbsp;identify&nbsp;and manage risks, tradeoffs, and blockers; escalate and recommend decisions when schedule, scope, or resources misalign.&nbsp;</li> <li>Thrive in a high-ambiguity, fast-paced environment, creating structure, clarity, and alignment&nbsp;where needed.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain program dashboards ensuring key stakeholders have the most up to date information available to inform decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in technical program management.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong technical understanding of&nbsp;a relevant space defense system (satellites, missile, rockets, engines, etc.)&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with&nbsp;Jira, Confluence, and other software tracking tools&nbsp;</li> <li>Deep familiarity with Agile / Scrum / Kanban processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical partners.&nbsp;</li> <li>U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a security clearance if not already held.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>PowerBI or other relevant data visualizaiton tools</li> <li>Experience working classified DoW programs or relevant background</li> <li>Background in engineering, computer science or a related technical field&nbsp;</li> <li>PMP or Agile certification is a plus&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>COMPENSATION</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Base Salary:&nbsp;</strong>$120,000 - $165,000</li> <li><strong>Equity + Benefits</strong>&nbsp;including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><em>Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience</em></p> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL&nbsp;CONSIDERATIONS</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Work&nbsp;Location</strong>: This role is at Long Beach, CA OR Washington DC OR Denver, CO</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.</p> <p>True Anomaly is committed to equal employment opportunity on any basis protected by applicable state and federal laws.
