If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div>  What you’ll do  We expect all Scouts to demonstrate integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, a growth mindset, and a positive attitude. As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for performing dimensional inspections, equipment calibration, and measurement system verification to support manufacturing and quality operations. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure parts and assemblies meet design intent and GD&T requirements. This role requires attention to detail, hands-on experience with measurement tools, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and data.  <ul> <li>Perform routine dimensional inspections of parts, assemblies, and fixtures using established measurement methods and standard metrology equipment.  </li> <li>Execute existing measurement programs and inspection plans to collect accurate dimensional data.  </li> <li>Record and report measurement results, identifying deviations and escalating concerns to senior team members when required.  </li> <li>Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and basic GD&T requirements.  </li> <li>Support calibration, verification, and routine maintenance activities for measurement equipment.  </li> <li>Assist in troubleshooting dimensional issues by providing inspection data and observations.  </li> <li>Follow standardized metrology procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements to ensure consistency and repeatability.  </li> <li>Support capability studies, Gage R&R activities, and measurement system validations under guidance from senior team members.  </li> <li>Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to address routine dimensional concerns.  </li> <li>Support production operations and new product launches through inspection and measurement activities.  </li> <li>Maintain proper care, storage, and handling of precision measurement equipment.  </li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and measurement processes.  </li> </ul> Location & Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>Location: Blythewood, South Carolina</li> <li>Attendence: Daily </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scouts to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. As a non-exempt employee, you are eligible for overtime compensation consistent with applicable law and company policies. This position is eligible to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final pay rate offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
