<p><span data-contrast="auto">We supercharge electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. We enable customers to design what they want, when they want it and deliver harness builds at record-breaking speed.</span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">We’re building a dedicated Production Engineering function at Senra Systems – a team that owns the floor, not the desk. As a Production Engineer, you will be embedded in manufacturing as the technical resource our assembly technicians rely on during active production. While Manufacturing Engineers own the front-end documentation – BOMs, Engineering Masters, work instructions, and formboards – you own execution.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">You’ll troubleshoot builds in real time, support first articles, verify cable and component kits, disposition non-conformances, and serve as the day-to-day engineering presence that keeps production moving. This role reports to the Lead Production Engineer and works closely with the Manufacturing Engineering, Production and Quality teams.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<p><em><span data-contrast="auto">Floor Troubleshooting & Real-Time Support</span></em><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Serve as the on-floor technical resource during active production – resolving assembly issues, documentation discrepancies, and build questions without halting throughput</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Identify and escalate systemic issues to the Lead PE or ME team with clear, structured documentation</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for recurring production issues</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><em><span data-contrast="auto">NCR Disposition</span></em><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Review and disposition non-conformances generated on the floor with documented rationale (use-as-is, rework, or scrap)</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain NCR aging within SLA; escalate items that require engineering disposition beyond your scope</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Coordinate with Quality on in-process inspection holds and final disposition sign-off</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><em><span data-contrast="auto">First Article & First Build Support</span></em><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Provide hands-on engineering support during first articles and new part number introductions</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Walk the floor during first builds, verify documentation accuracy, and identify gaps before they become production issues</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Capture redlines and documentation feedback and submit to the ME team in a structured, timely manner</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><em><span data-contrast="auto">Kit Verification & Material Flow</span></em><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Audit incoming cable and component kits against the build package before they reach the floor </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Flag shortages, substitutions, or discrepancies and coordinate resolution with kitting, supply chain and engineering </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><em><span data-contrast="auto">Technician Support & Mentorship</span></em><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Answer technical questions from assembly technicians on wire prep, crimping, connector insertion, splicing, and harness routing</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Coach to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and NASA 8739.4 workmanship standards; recognize and address non-conforming work at the source</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Contribute to a culture of quality ownership on the floor – every technician should know what good looks like</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-props="{}"><strong>What you'll bring to the team:</strong> </span></span></p>
<p><em><span data-contrast="auto">Required:</span></em><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">1–3 years of hands-on experience in wire harness or cable assembly manufacturing</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Working knowledge of wire harness assembly processes: wire prep, crimping, soldering, connector insertion, and harness routing</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident) </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Prior experience as a manufacturing, build or sustaining engineer </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Extensive technical authoring experience i.e. developing engineering masters, dispositioning non conformances, etc. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">High degree of ownership, self-starting and proactive with a bias toward action and solutions </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience in an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Exposure to NASA 8739.4 workmanship requirements</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Familiarity with MIL-spec connectors and contacts (D-sub, LEMO, Glenair, Amphenol, etc.)</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS or CIT certification</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience with NCR or nonconformance management workflows</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Demonstrated a consistent quality-first approach that has visibly reduced rework or build stops on your assigned product families</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>

<p><strong>Compensation: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. </li>
<li>Salary Range:<em> </em>$75,000-$85,000 </li>
<li>This is an onsite role at our factory in Cypress, CA. </li>
