Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.  </div>Legend Biotech is seeking a Scientist, Exploratory Technology in vivo CAR-T as part of the Research and Development team based in Philadelphia, PA .   Role Overview We are seeking an innovative scientist (Exploratory platform development) who possesses extensive knowledge and experience in immunology and exploratory research in cell immunotherapy to contribute to our in vivo CAR T cell platform development and to support our pipeline development.   Key Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Produce research grade lentivirus to perform exploratory research.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Perform lentivirus titering such as p24 ELISA and qPCR.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Contribute in developing and optimizing novel cell and gene therapy platforms and in vitro cell-based immunoassays such as whole blood transduction.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Setup in vitro CAR T cell culture, characterization and functional assays including PBMC culture, T cell isolation and expansion, multi-color flow cytometry, cytotoxic assays (e.g. IncuCyte), cytokine detection (e.g. MSD) and VCN analysis.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Independently design and execute experiments and at the same time, work closely with the team and cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Deliver reliable and consistent data and be able to interpret scientific results and present the data within research team and cross-functional teams.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Complete ELN in a timely manner with good documentation skills.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support laboratory chores as a good team player.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience to support project from early research to clinical stage is a plus.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Stay alert to industry development, keep learning and be comfortable in a fast-paced team.</li> </ul>   Requirements <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field OR Master’s degree with 3–6+ years of relevant experience.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Hands-on experience in immunology, cell therapy, gene therapy, or related fields.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience with viral vector systems (especially lentivirus) is highly preferred.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Industry or postdoctoral experience is a plus.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Cell biology and molecular biology techniques.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Virology and viral vector systems (e.g., lentivirus).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Mammalian cell culture and immune cell handling.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Flow cytometry and immunoassays.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong data analysis, organization, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. </li> </ul>   #Li-JR1 #Li-Onsite<div class="content-conclusion">Please note: These benefits are offered exclusively to permanent full-time employees.
