Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).</span></p> </blockquote> <hr></div><h2></h2> <h2><span style="color: #005cb9;">Echodyne is seeking an Account Sales Representative with defense sales experience to join our fast-growing team.&nbsp;</span></h2> <blockquote> <h3><span style="color: #000000;">If you want to make an impact, develop a territory, and are a challenger, we want to hear from you! &nbsp;</span></h3> </blockquote> <h3 style="line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #005cb9;"><strong>CORE PURPOSE</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li>Support the company’s efforts to sell products or services to the assigned accounts, following all federal acquisition rules.</li> <li>Assist in building and maintaining relationships with Account personnel, program offices, and contracting officers.</li> <li>Perform research, client outreach, documentation, and proposal support.</li> </ul> <h3 style="line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #005cb9;"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li> <ul> <li><strong>Contribute to Account Strategy and Planning</strong> <ul> <li>Expanding the existing base</li> <li>Identifying and engaging new prospects and customers</li> <li>Tactical plan to engage</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Growing pipeline</strong> <ul> <li>Looking for new initiatives, programs, opportunities (SAM.gov, other searches)</li> <li>Track RFI’s/RFP’s/RFQ’s</li> <li>Identifying net new POC’s in target areas</li> <li>Prospecting and cold calling</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Increase Awareness </strong><strong>work with teammate To:</strong> <ul> <li>Identify relevant events, conferences, shows, etc.</li> <li>Ensure that key partners have the tools and materials needed to extend sales efforts</li> <li>Provide collected feedback to DoD and Marketing teams</li> <li>Prospecting and cold calling</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Customer Engagement (Entry Level)</strong> <ul> <li>Assist in introducing products or services to assigned accounts’ military units.</li> <li>Participate in meetings, briefings, and demos alongside senior sales staff.</li> <li>Build early-stage relationships with assigned accounts' points of contact.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Market &amp; Requirements Research</strong> <ul> <li>Research Account missions, units, budgets, and needs.</li> <li>Track relevant RFPs, RFIs, and government opportunities.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Proposal &amp; Contract Support</strong> <ul> <li>Help prepare: <ul> <li>Capability statements</li> <li>Technical documentation</li> <li>Proposal sections</li> <li>Pricing support</li> </ul> </li> <li>Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS (usually under leadership and legal supervision).</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Administrative &amp; Coordination Tasks</strong> <ul> <li>Maintain CRM records and contact lists.</li> <li>Schedule meetings, demos, and site visits.</li> <li>Support tradeshow or conference participation (AFA, industry days, etc.)</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Product Knowledge Development</strong> <ul> <li>Learn the company’s solutions well enough to explain basic benefits.</li> <li>Understand how they apply to the assigned accounts' missions (logistics, training, ISR, etc.).</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h3><strong><span style="color: #005cb9;">REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE</span></strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience selling into the US Defense Industry or US Government&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven track record of capturing net-new business&nbsp;</li> <li>Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated technical acumen and the ability to articulate technical concepts&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to develop a sales territory plan that aligns with the overall corporate strategic plan&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent forecasting and qualification skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Experienced in owning meetings/presentations at executive levels&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated success selling into large, cross-functional programs&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 50%&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3><strong><span style="color: #005cb9;">DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE&nbsp; <br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)</span></span></strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</span></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree; preferably in Engineering/Science discipline (with MBA a plus)&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience selling physical security solutions and hardware&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience selling to and through value added partners/integrators&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience selling into the US Government&nbsp;</li> <li>Solid understanding of government procurement processes, FARS, DFARS, federal contracting and contract vehicles, regulations and teaming agreements&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3><strong><span style="color: #005cb9;">QUALIFICATIONS</span></strong></h3> <ul> <li>2 years (minimum) of full-cycle, complex field sales.</li> <li>2 years of experience selling into the Department of Defense.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <blockquote> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;
