This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date.</em></p> <p><strong><em>This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.</em></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Role Description</strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <p>With the gFiber team, you’ll work on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with a cross-functional team to plan, execute, and deliver projects, as well as deploy new technologies to local markets and surrounding communities. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations, milestone tracking, and completion of projects related to the construction of our OSP FTTH network. You will be responsible for everything that happens downstream of Engineering/Permitting including pre-construction planning, construction execution/sequencing, and splicing/testing for project turnover and acceptance to downstream stakeholders.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>In this role, you’ll:</strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <ul> <li>Quality Management - ensure projects are built according to approved engineering design plans, Google Fiber Standards &amp; Spec, in adherence to current contract SOW’s, and aligned with municipal expectations/requirements. Foster an open, transparent, and cross-discipline change management process when deviations are necessary during build execution.</li> <li>Project Management -manage project pipelines, budgets, scheduling, resource/activity planning, activity sequencing/prioritization, vendor performance tracking, project dependency awareness, financial reporting, invoice approval, and material management.</li> <li>Vendor Management - develop, manage, maintain, and drive the Vendor construction schedule as a partner. Ensures project milestones and delivery dates are aligned with business commitments and work mitigating solutions to risks that arise.</li> <li>Clearly communicate expectations and project status effectively/concisely. Work with internal/external stakeholders to ensure that projects are scoped properly and handed off seamlessly for network acceptance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Be able to work autonomously with minimal guidance and supervision. Be comfortable standing up a new program geographical area with limited onsite support.&nbsp;</li> <li>Comfortable with converting conceptual market deliverables to specific action steps and assigning roles &amp; responsibilities to support Teams.</li> </ul> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>At a minimum, we would like you to have:</strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>4 years of Program/Project Management experience within large scope, capital intensive, technical scopes of work.</li> <li>4 years of Vendor Management experience directly managing vendor resources, performance management, and accountability for project-based deliveries.</li> <li>4 years experience scheduling projects, capital tracking/forecasting, reporting project status and costs versus commitments, and providing insights/ influence to commercial terms with contractors and vendors.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience managing capital, operational and technical programs.</li> </ul> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>It’s preferred that you have:</strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <ul> <li>PMP, PgMP or other project management certification.</li> <li>7 years of Project/Program Management experience.</li> <li>7 years of experience in a Vendor Management role.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience managing telecommunication infrastructure, Fiber to the Home/Plant (FTTx) operations and/or outside plant (OSP) projects.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to employ quality troubleshooting skills and creative problem solving abilities under pressure.</li> </ul> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span data-sheets-root="1">The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $113,000 - $138,000 + bonus + benefits.
