Founded in 2017,</strong><strong>&nbsp;we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.</strong></p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div></div><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span data-teams="true">Global Supply Chain Manager, Energy Storage</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Global Supply Chain Manager will work closely with engineering, operations, and other functional teams to drive suppliers election, manage supplier agreements, and optimize procurement strategies. This role will optimize cost, quality, and availability of a range of components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods in support of Redwood’s product offering.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities will Include:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop a sourcing strategy for a given set of components</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead supplier selection activities</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with engineering in order to understand key requirement that must be conveyed to potential suppliers</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Drive cost reduction and inventory management strategies that ensure availability of component while minimizing inventory carrying costs</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage supplier performance, including quality, on time delivery, sustainability, etc.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Become the subject matter expert for the assigned list of components and technologies</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Mitigate supply chain risks by working with cross functional teams in engineering, logistics, finance, quality etc.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate with cross-functional partners (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to support day to day operations</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelors degree in engineering, operations, business, economic</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5-7 years of supply chain experience</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and process improvement principles</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to interpret operational, technical, and financial data to support analysis and decision-making</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to travel up to 10% of time</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span data-teams="true"><span class="ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak">In accordance with California pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is listed below.
