We only accept direct applications.</div><div> <h2>Building Automation & Controls Recruiter</h2> Work Environment: Hybrid - Draper, UT (regular in-office presence required) <h3>Build the Talent Behind Intelligent Buildings</h3> Kelso Building Services, part of Kelso Industries, is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Building Automation & Controls Recruiter to help grow our workforce across the building automation, controls, and smart building industries. In this role, you'll recruit highly skilled professionals including Controls Technicians, BAS/BMS Programmers, Controls Engineers, System Integrators, Project Managers, Commissioning Specialists, and other technical professionals who design, install, program, and maintain building automation systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting our operating companies by identifying and engaging top controls talent in a highly competitive market. Success requires strong sourcing skills, technical recruiting aptitude, and the ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring leaders. This role is hybrid, with a strong preference for candidates who can work from our Draper, UT office. <hr> <h2>Responsibilities:</h2> <h3>Recruiting & Talent Sourcing</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Source and recruit Building Automation, Controls, and Smart Building professionals across multiple markets</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop pipelines of qualified Controls Technicians, BAS/BMS Programmers, Controls Engineers, Commissioning Specialists, Project Managers, and related technical talent</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Conduct high-volume outbound sourcing through calls, texts, emails, LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, referrals, and trade associations</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Post and maintain job openings across recruiting platforms and industry-specific channels</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Review applications and proactively engage qualified candidates</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Build and maintain talent communities for recurring and hard-to-fill controls roles</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Utilize market intelligence and competitive talent mapping to identify recruiting opportunities</li> </ul> <h3>Hiring Partnership & Workforce Planning</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner closely with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand technical requirements and hiring priorities</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Gain an understanding of building automation platforms, controls technologies, commissioning processes, and field service functions</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Advise hiring teams on labor market trends, compensation expectations, and candidate availability</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist in developing compelling job advertisements and recruitment campaigns</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support workforce planning initiatives to meet business growth objectives</li> </ul> <h3>Employer Brand & Industry Engagement</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Represent Kelso at industry events, technical schools, career fairs, trade association meetings, and community outreach activities</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Build relationships with controls professionals and industry networks</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Promote Kelso's culture, growth opportunities, and commitment to innovation within the building automation industry</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support recruiting marketing initiatives that strengthen employer brand awareness</li> </ul> <h3>Candidate Experience, Process & Metrics</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Deliver a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within Greenhouse (ATS)</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Track recruiting metrics including candidate pipeline health, source effectiveness, time-to-fill, and hiring outcomes</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, efficiency, and candidate engagement</li> </ul> <h3>Hiring Execution & Support</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate background checks, references, and pre-employment requirements</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist with offer development and candidate closing activities</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage multiple openings simultaneously while maintaining quality and urgency</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support hiring for related technical, engineering, project management, and operational roles as business needs evolve</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Required Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">High school diploma or GED required;
