This role provides administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Fleet Manager, including maintaining records, coordinating services, and assisting drivers. The position requires organization, timeliness, and a customer service focus. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist in managing the organization’s fleet of vehicles and specialty equipment, including general upkeep such as fueling, washing, and detailing</li> <li>Support with vehicle reservations, assignments, and returns using the fleet database</li> <li>Assist in scheduling and tracking vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs</li> <li>Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and mileage reports</li> <li>Assist with telematics tracking software, including monitoring vehicles and supporting equipment installation and removal</li> <li>Support with driver onboarding, documentation, compliance tracking, and creating the driver app identification</li> <li>Maintain accurate fleet records, including registrations, insurance, and service logs</li> <li>Provide support with tracking and collecting information for all fleet vehicle accidents</li> <li>Track and report on fleet-related expenses and budgets</li> <li>Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations</li> <li>Respond to driver inquiries and provide operational support</li> <li>Support with executive drives and tours</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul> Other Responsibilities: Ability to work overtime with short notice.  Qualifications: <ul> <li>3+ years of driving experience within the NYC metro area.</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Experience with using Microsoft Office</li> <li>Valid NYS driver’s license</li> <li>Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality work and customer service</li> <li>Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Proven time management and prioritization skills</li> <li>Ability to perform under minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a professional attitude and attire</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range">$60,000—$62,000 USD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><div class="SCXW244620978 BCX0"> <div class="OutlineElement Ltr SCXW244620978 BCX0"> About Us: New York City Economic Development Corporation is a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that works for a vibrant, inclusive, and globally competitive economy for all New Yorkers.
