If so, then we invite you to read on.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THIS ROLE</strong></p> <p>St. Michael’s is hiring a <strong>Consultant/FIAR Research Analyst </strong>to support a Department of Defense client. As a Consultant/FIARResearch Analyst, you will ensure a systematic process is in place and identify obstacles for achieving auditable financial statements for all MFP-11 funds. Our core value of <strong>Commitment</strong> is paramount as you will assist in providing business process narratives and flowcharts to provide a description of how personnel perform a specific business process, the risks the process poses, and the controls required to mitigate those risks.</p> <p><strong>LOCATION</strong></p> <p>Tampa, FL, 100% (On-site)</p> <p><strong>WHO YOU ARE</strong></p> <p>Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Accounting or Finance, or Business Management or Business Administration</p> <p>OR five (5)&nbsp;years of experience with DoD or other federal agency</p> <p>Experience shall include:</p> <ul> <li>Audit remediation requirements for DoD or other federal agency</li> <li>Tying General Equipment and Operating Maintenance &amp; Supplies (OM&amp;S) to the financial statements</li> <li>Evaluating program deficiencies and preparing briefings for senior DoD leadership to address solutions</li> <li>Justifying policy change, systems acquisition, and budget justification</li> <li>Government Finance and Execution including use of systems such as: Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), EDA, DEAMS, GFEBS, NERP, SABRS, CRISA, DAI, ADVANA,</li> <li>TS/SCI Clearance</li> </ul> <p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure that a systematic process is in place and identify obstacles for achieving auditable financial statements for all MFP-11 funds</li> <li>Assist in using the FIAR Methodology to facilitate the establishment of controls and implementation of process improvements and recommendations for solutions in areas where audit remediation is not currently achievable</li> <li>Identify and document financial processes focusing on processes, controls and systems that report budgetary information</li> <li>Provide business process narratives and flowcharts to provide a description of how personnel perform a specific business process, the risks the process poses, and the controls required to mitigate the risks.</li> <li>Where deficiencies exist, assist the command in writing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for implementation. Train SOF AT&amp;L personnel on implementation of CAPs.</li> <li>Provide substantiating documentation in response to SOF AT&amp;L audit samples and work with the respective Directorate OPRs to ensure 100% of suspense(s) are met.</li> <li>Facilitate response to and document all OSD/USSOCOM/taskers and data calls as related to FIAR.</li> <li>Facilitate development and provide FIAR briefings and updates to SOF AT&amp;L leadership as required.</li> <li>Provide audit expertise and guidance to SOF AT&amp;L PEO and Directorate OPRs and support management of FIAR portal sites.</li> <li>Facilitate implementation of new OSD, Agency and SOCOM policies to support FIAR compliance, to include documenting processes and procedures.</li> </ul> <p>#SMI123</p><div class="content-conclusion"><div> <p><strong>WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?</strong></p> <p>At St. Michael’s, we believe in rewarding hard work and supporting the people who keep our country safe.
