About the Role

<p>XLA is looking for a <strong>Program Support Specialist</strong> to support a federal agency in Arlington, VA. This position requires the candidate to be eligible to obtain a U.S. secret security clearance and is <strong>onsite position Monday-Friday.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary: $65,000</strong></p> <p>The Program Support Specialist’s competencies will encompass very high-level skills in the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>organization; time management; ability to multitask effectively; attention to detail, computer literacy; and well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Analyze and process financial and accounting reports, deliverables, accounts payable, cost accruals, and disbursements.</li> <li>Apply financial reporting and accounting management as related to the federal government accounting standards.</li> <li>Develop and maintain spreadsheets of obligations, accounts payable, cost accruals, and disbursements.</li> <li>Assist with financial and accounting audits of complex contracts.</li> <li>Analyze and prepare financial and accounting program activities.</li> <li>Develop operating procedures, directives, and/or guides to convey information relating to financial or accounting processes.</li> <li>Conduct studies improving accumulation, processes, and reporting of financial and accounting data to include development of complex funding documents and ongoing contract administration.</li> <li>Process funding requests into the DEA’s financial management system for action.</li> <li>Perform complex fund control activities.</li> <li>Perform in a respectful and professional manner with employees.</li> <li>Use analytical techniques and critical thinking to prepare delivery status of accounting, data or financial deliverables; identifies tracks and resolves data discrepancies or recommends solutions; attends meetings, working groups, and briefings.</li> <li>Process invoices after careful analysis of financial and accounting information.</li> <li>Track, organize, record, modify, identify, validate, analyze, and report financial and accounting data relating to procurement of commodities or services; reimbursable agreements; intra-agency agreements; account deliverable and receivables.</li> <li>Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications/tools; Excel.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Functional Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain action item databases; track action items; prepare and deliver progress reports and other documents in support of program(s);&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare and monitor delivery schedules; support preparation for, attends and records minutes and action items for meetings.</li> <li>Assist in scheduling and preparation of program(s) activities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Minimum Experience/Education/Certification</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience</li> </ul> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>EEO Statement</strong></p> <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">XLA is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals and is an equal opportunity employer committed to supporting equality and integrity in the workplace, professional development and education, and an entrepreneurial atmosphere. &nbsp;</span></span></p> <p>We encourage qualified individuals with disabilities to apply.
