Phoenix, AZ.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: normal;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial Black',sans-serif; color: #004d71;">Rewards of Working at Caddell - Paid vacations, company-paid&nbsp;holidays, company-funded&nbsp;medical insurance.&nbsp; Company joint funding of dental and vision insurance, life and disability plans to full-time employees, 401k match, gym membership reimbursement, and use of company condominiums.</span></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><strong><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: #691c32;">What You Will Do</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Performs daily accounting activities, such as new vendor setup, expense report and sub-application review.</li> <li>Create and execute general journal entries on a daily basis based on supporting documentation in accordance with GAAP.</li> <li>Month-end close activities, including maintaining monthly and quarterly account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and work in process schedules.</li> <li>Assists with preparation of documentation as requested by external auditors.</li> <li>Prepares special financial reports as requested by management by analyzing account information and trends.</li> <li>Initiates accounting research to ensure all transactions are in accordance with GAAP.</li> <li>Supports the accounting team by performing other assigned duties as needed.</li> <li>Supports continuous improvement in the department by reviewing, recommending and implementing better methods for existing processes.</li> <li><strong>Working Conditions</strong> – Office setting, Full time, Periodic travel may be required to other offices.</li> <li><strong>Reporting Structure – </strong>Cost Accountant Manager or Assistant Controller</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: #691c32;">What We Expect</span></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><a name="_Hlk155465779"></a><strong><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial Black',sans-serif; color: #004d71;">Accountability is part of The Caddell Way and our employees share in a strong work ethic and positive team environment.&nbsp; There is a true sense of purpose and teamwork.&nbsp; </span></strong></p> <p><strong>Job Requirements </strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong Analytical skills with a working knowledge of current tax laws.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment.</li> <li>Self-starter with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, verifies own work to ensure quality work product.</li> <li>Experience with multiple software platforms, such as Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, SAGE, ERP systems, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Experience </strong></p> <ul> <li>1-3 Years of Tax Accounting Experience</li> <li>College Degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business</li> <li>Experience with online tax filings, preparation of corporate, sales and general business tax returns</li> <li>Experience with Tax Research</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)</li> <li>Communication skills, attention to detail</li> <li>Construction experience, multi-state jurisdictional experience, CMiC experience</li> </ul> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial Black',sans-serif; color: #691c32;">Your career matters at Caddell, where there is a strong emphasis on the growth and development of every employee!
