<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>FINANCE DIRECTOR - AG & SULFUR BUSINESS UNIT</strong></span></p>
<p>This role is a hands-on finance leader with full Profit & Loss (P&L) ownership for the Ag & Sulfur business unit. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Finance and functionally to the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) leader, this role serves as the primary finance partner to the commercial team. This role collaborates with the operations and supply chain teams to help support business growth. This matrix structure ensures financial independence while enabling strategic alignment with SBU priorities. The Finance Director is expected to contribute actively to cross-functional initiatives beyond financial oversight.</p>
<p>The role owns all commercial Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for the business unit. This position carries end-to-end accountability for business unit financial performance and requires strong informal leadership and cross‑functional influence.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Primary responsibilities include:</strong></em></span></p>
<p><strong>Financial Planning & Analysis</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Fully responsible for FP&A for the SBU, including analysis of the full P&L, revenue, gross margin, manufacturing absorption, operating expenses, and contribution margin.</li>
<li>Serve as an active member of the SBU Leadership Team.</li>
<li>Collaborate with SBU leader to drive business growth, identify risks and opportunities, and set priorities.</li>
<li>Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the business unit.</li>
<li>Prepare and present the monthly and quarterly financial results, forecasts, and performance commentary to senior leadership.</li>
<li>Conduct variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior year with clear explanations and recommended actions.</li>
<li>Ensure strong financial discipline, data integrity, and alignment with accounting and corporate finance standards.</li>
<li>Maintain a “no surprises” approach through proactive communication and issue identification.</li>
<li>Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives leveraging automation and AI where possible to increase efficiency.</li>
<li>Manage monthly reporting, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for the Sac Ag Joint Venture.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Strategic & Commercial Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Act as a trusted advisor to SBU leadership, translating financial results into clear, actionable insights.</li>
<li>Partner with the SBU leader to design and track employee incentive programs.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely tracking of all customer incentive programs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the sales team on pricing strategies and quoting.</li>
<li>Support new business opportunities, pricing changes, and strategic initiatives with financial modeling and scenario analysis.</li>
<li>Lead the development of business plans and justifications for growth and innovation initiatives.</li>
<li>Support demand planning and sales and operations planning initiatives.</li>
<li>Participate in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) due diligence and integration efforts.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>REPORTING STRUCTURE</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This position reports to the Director of Finance.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related financial work experience required; CPA preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing industry, chemical manufacturing preferred.</li>
<li>Progressive FP&A or finance business partner experience.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting full P&L ownership and plant-level financial analysis.</li>
<li>Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills required; experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI), Salesforce, and AI agents preferred.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for plant and business engagement.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p>

<li><strong>Office Environment:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Able to work at a computer for extended periods.</li>
<li>Able to use standard office equipment (computer, keyboard, mouse).</li>
<li>Occasionally moves or transports objects (such as laptop or files) weighing up to 20 pounds.</li>

<li><strong>Travel & Plant Environment:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Able to travel up to <strong>10% of the time</strong>, including overnight travel, to manufacturing plant locations.</li>
<li>During plant visits, the role involves moving through industrial areas and may involve periods of standing or walking.</li>
<li>Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated plant or production areas, including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel‑toed footwear, and other site‑specific PPE.</li>
<li>Able to tolerate exposure to <strong>hot, cold, and noisy environments </strong>during plant visits.</li>
</ul>
