We offer a career trajectory few others can match, with opportunities to take on roles and projects aligned with your skills and interests.</p> <p>In addition, we offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>401K retirement plan</li> <li>Paid time off and paid holidays</li> <li>Tuition reimbursement</li> <li>Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance options</li> <li>Paid overtime</li> <li>Flexible work schedule</li> </ul> <p>Employees working in Ripon have a short commute from Osh Kosh, Appleton, and Fond du Lac, and will enjoy professional growth and community engagement through our regional presence in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota.</p> <h3><strong>ESTIMATED PAY RANGE</strong></h3> <p>Engineer I: $72,000 - $84,000<br>Engineer II: $80,000 - $92,000<br>Engineer III: $90,000 - $102,000<br>Senior Engineer: $97,000 - $112,000</p> <p>Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations</p> <h4><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></h4> <p>As a <strong>Process Engineer</strong> in <strong>Ripon, WI</strong>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze manufacturing equipment, workflows, and processes to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost efficiency</li> <li>Implement process improvements, update operational standards, and support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives</li> <li>Select, validate, and implement manufacturing processes that reduce production costs and increase reliability</li> <li>Evaluate vendor proposals and support new equipment specification, justification, and installation</li> <li>Partner with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment operates at like‑new performance</li> <li>Conduct capability studies, time studies, and process development activities, including visual work instructions</li> <li>Provide daily production support, troubleshoot process issues, and reduce scrap, rework, and cycle time</li> <li>Specify and develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures; coordinate engineering projects and participate in Kaizen events</li> <li>Collaborate with suppliers and Applied partners across northern Wisconsin to strengthen manufacturing performance</li> <li>Support projects that impact communities in Ripon, Appleton, Oshkosh, and surrounding areas</li> <li>Contribute to a dynamic environment that values ownership, innovation, and hands‑on problem solving</li> </ul> <h1><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></h1> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering</li> <li>4+ years of engineering experience in a metal manufacturing or production environment preferred; internships and co‑ops may count toward experience</li> <li>Strong background in Lean manufacturing, capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis</li> <li>Proven experience supporting production, troubleshooting process issues, and driving measurable improvements in safety, quality, and throughput</li> <li>Ability to evaluate equipment proposals, justify capital investments, and implement new or optimized manufacturing processes</li> <li>Experience developing work instructions, tooling specifications, and detailed process documentation</li> <li>Creo and/or AutoCAD experience strongly preferred; additional CAD or modeling tools a plus</li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>SKILLS AND VALUES</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li>Capable of working independently and as a team member</li> <li>Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset</li> <li>Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking</li> <li>Effective verbal and written communication</li> <li>Desire to work on a variety of projects</li> </ul> <h2><strong>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</strong></h2> <p>Please consider joining Applied's team of talented employees in Ripon and the greater OshKosh metropolitan area.&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
