As an <strong>LVN</strong>, you will impact the lives of our residents through providing professional nursing care. Join our team and inspire happiness in the lives of others!</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you’ll do</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Ensure adherence to individual service plans and administer prescribed treatments.</li> <li>Conduct meaningful rounds with residents and record visits on charts.</li> <li>Administer injections, perform in-house testing procedures, and record vital signs.</li> <li>Supervise and assign duties to nurse aides, monitor their work, and assist in carrying out the activities program.</li> <li>Communicate with physicians and follow through with orders. Handle medication preparation, administration, and documentation.</li> <li>Monitor condition of medication room, cart, and refrigerator.</li> <li>Chart accurately and in accordance with facility policy and state guidelines.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED.</li> <li>Current Licensed Vocational Nurse License.</li> <li>Current CPR Certification.</li> <li>Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.</li> <li>Working knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control.</li> <li>Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write English.</li> <li>A friendly attitude and a servant’s heart.</li> </ul> <p>The above description reflects the details considered necessary to describe the essential functions of the job and should not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be performed in the job.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>About Buckner Retirement Services:</strong></span></p> <p>Buckner Retirement Services comprises a network of senior living communities across Texas.
