No ego - just great care.</li> <li>Organized &amp; Proactive: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and a knack for improving processes.</li> <li>Compassionate &amp; Growth-Oriented: Gentle with pets, respectful with clients, and motivated to keep learning and improving veterinary care.</li> <li>Experience in urgent or emergency care</li> <li>Experience in dentistry and anesthesia required</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Clinical Partnership: Support veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics.</li> <li>Client Education &amp; Support: Guide and reassure pet parents by clearly explaining care plans and at-home instructions.</li> <li>Technical &amp; Lab Skills: Perform blood draws, lab tests, IV catheter placement, radiographs (including dental), medication/vaccine administration, and assist with wound care.&nbsp;</li> <li>Training &amp; Mentorship: Provide thorough, continuous hands-on training to both floor nurses and lead veterinary technicians across a region of 4 clinics.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support Clinic Staffing: Develop clinic schedules, assist with the interview process for prospective nurses, and support onboarding new nurses.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain Fidelity of Clinic Operations: Coordinate regular staff meetings and ensure that all team members adhere to attendance and medical policies.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Get</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay: $36–$38/hour, plus 1.5x pay on Sploot-recognized holidays.</li> <li>Full reimbursement for Illinois technician licensure + up to 10 hours of CE annually</li> <li>Employee Pet Benefits — free, at-cost, or deep discounts for up to 5 of your own pets</li> <li>Health, Dental, and Vision with a generous employer contribution; HSA available</li> <li>401(k) with company match</li> <li>Generous PTO, and up to 12 weeks paid parental leave</li> <li>Free Sploot-branded FIGS scrubs, unlimited snacks, and regular team events</li> </ul> <p>At Sploot, we’re building the future of vet med one clinic, one case, and one team member at a time.
