About the Role

The LA Clippers are looking to hire a Experimentation Analytics Lead who will be the methodological backbone of how we test, learn, and optimize across fan engagement, ticketing, and revenue programs. This role owns the design, analysis, and governance of experiments that drive business decisions — from holdout strategy and power analysis to attribution methodology and the translation of results into stakeholder-ready recommendations. Working horizontally across lines of business, the Experimentation Analytics Lead partners with Fan Lifecycle, Ticketing, and Marketing teams to ensure that what we measure is what we intend to measure — and that the conclusions we draw are statistically and strategically sound. The role serves as a center of excellence for experimentation craft and standards across the organization.  This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. The scope of this position encompasses a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.   What You Will Do <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Designs experiments across fan lifecycle, ticketing, and personalization — including hypothesis development, sample sizing, holdout strategy, and pre-registration of success metrics. </li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Analyzes experiment results using appropriate statistical methods: significance testing, confidence intervals, multiple-comparison correction, and causal inference techniques where pure randomization isn't feasible. </li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Synthesizes results into clear, decision-ready recommendations for stakeholders at all levels of the organization. </li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develops measurement frameworks for incrementality and lift on initiatives that don't fit traditional A/B testing — always-on channels, brand-level work, and multi-touch journeys. </li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Establishes and maintains experimentation standards across the organization — including pre-registration of hypotheses, guardrails against p-hacking, and documentation of completed and failed tests as a shared body of organizational learning. </li> </ul>   Your Background, Skills and Qualification <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">4-7 years of experience in experimentation, marketing analytics, data science, or quantitative consulting, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of experiment design and analysis. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong statistical foundation: hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, power analysis, regression, and causal inference methods. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical or scripting language (Python). </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience working with cloud data platforms and modern BI tools. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong written and verbal communication — ability to translate statistical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience designing and analyzing experiments at scale in a consumer-facing business preferred. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Exposure to ML and propensity modeling concepts; comfort partnering with data scientists on model validation through experimentation. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field — or equivalent practical experience. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead projects from origin through execution. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business. </li> </ul>   LA Clippers’ Approach to Technology & Innovation At the LA Clippers, curiosity and innovation go hand in hand.
