Our strategic vision focuses on supporting prelease transactions, competitively bidding projects of all sizes, and fostering our altruistic service culture by recruiting highly talented individuals of great character who want to make a genuine impact on our communities.</div>The Role The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in achieving the project's financial and schedule goals through effective management resulting in the delivery of a quality product to a satisfied customer. This success includes, but is not limited to, providing a safe work environment and ensuring the company is subjected to minimum risk. Project Engineers assist in a hands-on, team-focused environment in all aspects of projects from startup through closeout.  What you will accomplish <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assists with subcontractors and subcontracts as needed in areas such as; scope review, internal requests, change orders, buyout and communication.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manages the billing process in coordination with the Project Manager.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assist the superintendent as needed with items such as assembling RFI’s, research, supervise subcontractors and permits.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Coordinates and assembles project close out documents; warranty/operations and maintenance manuals.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manages all document control of RFI’s submittals, procurement, subcontractor change orders, correspondence, permits, drawings, specs, punch lists, as-builts, and reports in a systematic and traceable manner.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manages request from client, subcontractors or superintendents such as; warranty work requests, drawing reading and transmittals.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Active member of budget process (works with project manager to manage and adjust project budgets and prepares the necessary budget paperwork for the monthly budget meetings).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Coordinates with accounting in regards to initiating a job set-up by pulling a job number, filling out the owner checklists, ensure that the subcontractors are pre-qualified, and setting up the budget & prime contract in Procore.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assist in preparing owner checklists, submittal and coordination with accounting.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Attends job walks (Pre-construction owner, Pre-bid subcontractor, and Project Progress).</li> </ul> What we would like you to have <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred OR a BS in Engineering with relevant experience.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">3-5 years of construction engineering experience.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Mechanical experience with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a collaborative environment.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficient in construction software (Procore preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Access to reliable transportation (required).</li> </ul> You’re inspired by our values <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Altruistic - Our foundation is built upon the authentic, selfless concern we share for the success and wellbeing of others.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Fair 360 - We illuminate with kindness by seeking to understand before being understood and by caring more than may seem reasonable so we can achieve genuine success for all.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strategic - The blueprint that guides the creation of a genuine place of purpose expresses the clarity of our vision, the rigor of our thought and the character of our word.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Sincere - We present no facades, only genuine elevations of truth, trust, and wholehearted loyalty to the employees we mentor, the clients we serve and the communities we call home.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Nimble - Our structural integrity is ensured through the balance of resourcefulness, responsiveness, and adaptability and strengthened by being well-rounded in the market to serve at the highest levels.</li> </ul> Compensation  Alongside cash, our total compensation package includes comprehensive benefits and 100% employee ownership.
